After a long scouting process a new database of 136 players was compiled. 42 of those players have been considered to have been ready, or being within a couple of seasons of being ready to play for the national team. 78 players have been excluded as being not good enough, or unlikely to be developed enough to represent the national team. A total of 32 players have been added to a development watchlist and I aim to be in regular contact with their managers and monitor their progress closely.
17 Players have been provisionally called up to the national team. 13 of those are considered ready to play now, and 4 are considered to be close to being ready and hopefully their inclusion in the squad can provide some extra motivation to their managers to develop them further.
For those of you who have sent me messages in the last few thanks, thank you, and I'll get back to you ASAP now that the database is done and the squad picked.
