Media Release
Another season is coming to a close and another set of fantastic players say goodbye to the beloved Irish U21 setup. Boys who made their debuts for the Tri-Colours can now leave as national heroes created in that green jersey. 8 of the match day squad are now moving their careers to the next stage leaving the future of the Irish U21s in the hands of the rising talents. The most notable to leave are Homer 'Odyssey' Doherty who finished this season as top scorer, the amazing Scott 'too hot' O'Farrell who achieved 3rd all time in assists with the Irish Team with 127. Many had tipped Scott to break the record this year but injuries prevented him from going further. Both Homer and Scott have also made it into the top 10 caps of the Irish U21s with 33 each. Timmy "whats a rebound " Kelly and Gerry 'Adams' Synge will also bid farewell to the U21s as anchor's of the post.

The season its self was not a total disaster. Despite poor management of the player's game shapes at their clubs - Ireland were ranked 51st at the start of the season and finished 51st again. Their record was a 5-6 for overall games and 1-6 for competitive games. Despite this losing record the Irish team did achieve a new high under their orgasmic coach of 42nd. This was a country high for a very long time.

The future remains bright due to the new stream of talent coming through, the consistent training and communications from the team's offsite discord. The goal of the Irish team next year will be a consistent 40s team and also get Lee Strand to sponsor a trip to Waterford Fish and Chip History Museum.

Here are the players who will big farewell and the end of the season:
Scott O'Ferrall (48660134)
Homer Doherty (48660116)
Kevin Mulcahy (48660106)
Timmy Kelly (48660050)
Malcolm De Mange (48659990)
Gerry Synge (48935980)
Adam Boland (49122842)
Danny McGee (49038429)
Carl O'Hegarty (48935976)
Niall Nolan (49038357)
