(continued)

Rip City Outlaws is another team that is currently fielding a competitive roster that is going to have some age issues over the next two years. Four of their starters will be 33, 32, 30 and 30 next season. They are in not as good shape as the Knickerbockers as they do not currently have developed young talent to help fill the void when the older players are replaced. So they could have a rough few years ahead of them.

Surfside Corsairs is a team that is having an extreme issue with age. Their starters will be 31,30,34,38, and 37 next season. Because of the extreme age issues they have, they are likely to demote next season unless they do a heck of a job doing a rebuilding process.

Rightway State 2 is bot.

---- If someone from the Big 8 wants to do a summary of that side, it would be great. Otherwise I will do it by Wednesday.

Great synopsis... although the Cyborgs are about 2 seasons away from being a top tier team and about 3 from making a Title run...

I have not had a chance to complete the Big 8 write-up. I still have more research to do on the teams. Since I only play them once per seasons, I do not know them as well as the teams in the Great 8.

But more importantly, I wanted to put a post about the up and coming game against the Banahorns. They have an impressive teams and the Blood Kings are going to have to bring General Patton out of retirement to devise the proper game plan against the Bananahorns.

In our earlier meetings, the Blood Kings came close to beating the Bananahorns on their own court ((75705154)). Basically the game came down to shooting from the free throw line.

Since that meeting, the Bananahorns had brought in player Johnson Quiroz ((23478026)) to solidify their low court game. With that addition, it looks grim for the Blood Kings to win a best of three series where they do not have HCA.

At this point, our goal is to just win the home game to extend the series to a best of three for revenue purposes.

I was going to do a writeup on the Big 8, but life has gotten in the way of basketball the last two weeks. Rip City had the clear advantage going into tonights game, and probably would have swept our series, were it not for an untimely injury to Khan with about three minutes left in the game. We got thrashed in game one (bad tactics on my part), and got lucky in game two; I'm not at all confident that the injury to Khan is going to affect RCO's advantage enough to get us through, much less on his home court. Either way it goes, this has been one of the better leagues I have had a chance to participate in. The forum is active and there are some great contributions made by several owners, not to mention some very good teams in each conference. I am definitley in over my head here. Best of luck to everyone in future seasons!

Well, son of a sea biscuit!

General Patton called an aggressive strategy for the game and it was paying off.

But a injury to probably the best Blood King player in the 3rd period derailed my victory. I almost head on as I was down only one point with three minutes left.

Great game! It was exciting to watch.

Well...

General Patton did not get the job done, so he was fired! His complaint about injuries was not acceptable! The plan should survive contact with the enemy!

So we are bringing General Sherman in to plan for the next game.

Good luck!
