i firmly believe one of the most difficult things to do in sports is win when you are favored to win. So while my squad had no trouble with most of these DIV teams, the finalist punched way above his weight and proved to be tough opponent -- in DIV. This game is nothing if not competitive.
After one key move, the roster has fallen into place, or at least more clearly becoming organized. Out front with Wilson, Zigmars and Lowson shuffle 2 and 3, Fadel and Ares are 4/5, Abbas off the bench, with Borys ("no i in Borys") filling in anywhere. Helping out with Cup play is Garcete and Vik; Andrews and Lizhao are trainees with limited potential (100 TSP). Abbas is the targeted trainee -- he must get to be on par with Fadel and Ares.
Money declined during our DIV season, no thanks to the $1.9 million dropped on Borys. We exit S70 with c. $1.5 million, but next season should produce fine returns, $1 million+, more if we are competitive. With a set lineup, training will be easier. The ...
