Northwoods Elite opened its BuzzerBeater National Cup Tournament campaign with a commanding 120-86 victory over *ANKLE BREAKERS*. Northwoods Elite controlled the game from the opening tip, outscoring its opponent in every quarter behind an efficient offensive performance and strong ball movement. Maurílio Pinho led the way with 26 points, while Joseph Hickey added 24 points and 12 rebounds. The team shot an impressive 46-for-93 from the field and connected on 14 three-pointers. Northwoods Elite also dominated the glass and showcased balanced scoring in an emphatic first-round tournament statement victory.
The Elite return to the floor Saturday for a League Match on the road against the Louisiana Dolphins.
