8-man rotation for Super Goal game

Eggplantpopolopolous has announced a change in lineup, they are not using their usual strategy to play against Super Goal tonight. They have decided to give all of their five starting players a day off and will run an 8-man rotation, led by some of their scrubs.

The coach released a statement to the press earlier today, "I don't know this team [Super Goal] but they're clearly on a whole other level, I don't want to waste my guys energy to win a game that we basically have no chance at winning, especially since we are playing on the road. They [Super Goal] belong in a higher division as opposed to most of the other teams in this league... I am not going to push my guys to win this game. I am saving up their energy for the cup game which is coming soon because they have a much better chance of winning that game. Super Goal can run right over us and it won't be so embarrassing when we can say that we weren't trying and we were playing our worst players up against their better players. I believe it's more embarrassing to lose when trying to win rather than losing and not trying to win... least then you have an excuse when you lose [laughs]."

Eggplantpopolopolous currently have a 3-1 record and are 3rd overall in their conference.
