I have never had such a violent gear-change in thread tone as I got when I read your first reply.

Of course I agree with Shikago that their previous policy of "actually announcing gameplay changes ahead of time" was a pretty good one that they could have considered keeping. So maybe that's coloring my interpretation...

I'm happy with the match-viewer-tactics thing and hall-of-fame peak skills though. Too bad most of Shikago's elderly are imported to the home. My (one) guy has a long and glorious history that I can now look back on with disgust!

Oh man, I'm sorry. That's brutal. BB is like an evil god that takes delight in torturing people. Sort of like Comcast?

I always felt there should be some built in injury maximums, as a safe guard. Or rather, zero injuries period, but a set limit on injuries at the very least. Your top two players have 2 and 3 week injuries. That's outrageous.

Zlatanovic was injured with 30 seconds to go while up by 60.

This season might be completely lost at this point. My top 2 players will miss 25% of the season. I had 4 starting caliber bigs and sold one off, then 2 of the 3 remaining were injured in back-to-back games. Talk about picking the wrong guy to sell! Considering all the new teams have fully built arenas and can use prize money on players, coupled with no teams tanking means this injury situation might be completely season destroying and possibly franchise wrecking - especially considering the new short timeline to adjust for game engine alterations. Kind of sad, I felt I had a solid team and was planning on a few more moves, now that can't really happen. This is the kind of situation that makes one considering pulling back or quitting. It absolutely takes all the fun out of a simulation game. This isn't work, it's a distraction for entertainment. The world isn't short on that sort of thing...

Still absolutely clueless. Re-read your initial post again and tell me what those question marks mean. Oh yeah, not an opinion, but probably a question....

Sigh. It was rhetorical.

What's your deal anyway? Why so hostile? Just let it go already...

What are Ilmar's peak skills anyway? Since he's an active player I can't see them.

Yeah, not sure what's up with that...

What's the gameplay change that will affect the game engine or anyone manages training for their team? This isn't rhetorical, I'm serious.
There is no gameplay change that will alter what anyone does that was changed. Yes, the higher the stamina level a player has the slightly less severe form hit will happen with more and more minutes played. Notice it doesn't mean you can play tons of minutes without taking a hit to form, it just means the penalty will be less severe. Also, training GS will still increase GS, just not at the super hyped levels of previous seasons. Can anyone foresee these changes stopping someone from training GS if they want GS to increase? Will anyone spend half a season training stamina so that form can be minimally "not as bad" if they play more minutes than previously? The premise of the question is wrong and misunderstood - there is no gameplay or game engine change that has been made.

To go along with your "never" comment. Never have I seen a series specific forum thread attempted to have such a gear-change hijack by someone not in said series. He misinterpreted a change and what the change actually can be classified as, didn't post in a help thread or national or global thread, asked a question, didn't like the response he got, then blatantly lied about asking a question to alter the portrayal of his comments. He used some cool emoticons as a "look over here" distraction.

I wasn't trying to offend or piss off anyone with that first post. After being insulted, yelled at, laughed at, and lied to... well... that changes things.

But hey, at least I saw a red balloon.

(baloon)

You insulted me, yelled at me, laughed at me when I was trying to help, and then blatantly lied to me. Tell me again it was "rhetorical".

Thanks for the balloon.

Was that a real pause or a rhetorical ellipse [insert rhetorical question mark here].

I think this gif has been long overdue.

Anybody thinking that lathrop is overreacting should remember that he just lost his 2 best players

In Review:
1. lanthrop was trying to be helpful.

2. shikago was trying to be funny and wants a bit of a warning time before the BBs make any changes.

3. I think we can all agree we like the changes (other than the blank lineup).

4. I still enjoyed reading this more then the talk of some crappy screen play.

Shikago just sent me to show me his red balloon. I thought it was something fun and maybe a little dirty.
Sadly, it was just some angry dude and talking about geriatric people's stamina. Who cares if they can't last...they have ages of experience to make up for it.
