Well, as far as the Big 8 goes, the top 3 are probably shm, Stanton Stallions, and Pleasant-Team. For the Great 8, The Coolness Factor won the conference last season, but keep an eye on forest fires. As far as an early Champ prediction goes, I'm gonna stay out of that one.

I'll be droping 20k or so. And just like last season, I don't have the rebounders to move up. I get killed on the boards 3 out of 4 games.

I always like to look at cumulative DMI at this stage of the season. Every player has the same GS so the DMI numbers are pretty indicative of total skills. Calculating the DMI of the Top 10 players for each team gives us:

Big 8
shm 1,228,000
Stanton Stallions 1,111,300
Pleasant Team 1,029,000
Austin Eagles 1,017,600
GoldenBear 919,100
Pony Express 892,200
Delaware 87ers 751,700
Florida Champs. 577,400

Great 8
The Coolness Factor 1,564,900
Louisville Waffles 1,425,900
BC Lithuania 1,129,600
Marin Sharks 1,118,700
2 Left Feet 956,400
Forest fires 745,800
Larrys cable guys 674,200
GF Rabid Squirrels 608,200

Looks like a clear top 3 in the Big 8 and a clear top 2 in the Great 8.

Very interesting, never thought to look at the total DMI, always thought it wasn't much more than a rough indicator of a player's potential. Especially since there isn't a defined upper limit.

Florida Champs has just acquired Emre Durmaz Dikmen for $ 3 050 000.

"Sweet" addition.
