Tar, I too believe that Yuck will pull it out, but not because of salary. You've played well above expectation for your salary too. You cannot just look at a team's salary to determine the winner. Yuck will win because of the quality of his players' builds per salary dollar. Yuck is dollar for dollar the best team in this league. Your team is quite formidable too though for the salary you carry. We've just run into a brick wall this year. That is why I backed my salary down and just survived. There is no moving up while Yuck is in this league, so why waste the money trying. Good luck at the next level, Yuck. I'll be watching and rooting you on!

As a long time friend I thank you immensely for the over the top jinx!

This is the best year to try to promote. I see a number of brick walls being formed. Namely Nuts and Visionaries. I see those two having some legendary D2 teams the next few seasons. If I don't win this year, I may start a rebuild. This league is about to get real shitty.

And the NBBA is ripe for the taking.

In three of the past four seasons, the league title has been won by a team in their first season in the league. (Tucumcari repeated, so i'm counting them twice.) the Chargers and Horde are liquidating, the Cacti are clearing out the Senior Citizens, and i choke on raspberry seed, so the NBBA is practically a DIV league!

No problem, Chris. BTW, nice win, as expected tonight and thanks for the kind words. This season and the following season are probably the two most patient seasons I've had since I was in my first year in division III. We'll see how it turns out though in the coming season and into the next one after that. Hope to see you up in the NBBA soon. Your team is built rock solid, top to bottom, and I believe you will be there to stay. Good luck winning game 2.
