A belated welcome to the 4 new teams to the NBBA! Sorry guys for not rolling out the red carpet and confetti, but the NBBA is a little influx right now ;)

Welcome to Technical Fouls and EDH Wolves who were previously in the NBBA. Both have proved to be solid franchises over the seasons and look poised to stick around. They join Toronto Rapters in the Big 8 who is in the NBBA for the first time.

Also new to the NBBA but with a great track record of success with his team and the U21 team is Magiker's The King and I team. He joins the Great 8 and looks to be ready to compete right out of the gate.

Hopefully the new rules will bring back more competition and less punting...but who knows ;)

In the interest of full disclosure, I am sharing some crappy news:

Jfarb has quit BB. His father has been diagnosed with Cancer and moved to a new city as a result, and has had some major changes in his job as well. So he decided to quit BB and focus on his life. Also, Ambitious and Misunderstood is done as well. Joel (Jfarb) and Czobo (Charles) are real life friends...Charles hasn't been all that interested in BB and has only stayed active because of Joel's prodding...with Jfarb quitting, Charles is too.

Sadly, we are going to have two NBBA teams be inactive, and go bot during the season...but obviously even more sad is the battle that Joel's father will be enduring. I know I will be praying for his dad. Let's all keep Joel and his family in our thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for the this, I have know Jfarb for a while, ever since we were in Div II together. I do understand he moved close to where I am, I hope to reach out (Joel if you are reading this please PM me.)

Joel that's terrible news. I'm sure you're dad is an amazing guy from what I know about you. You set the tone for BB USA and this place won't be the same. Take care and best of luck to you and your family.

I did not check the forums yesterday and was surprised to see a walkover. Went from coming here wanting to say "What the hell jfarb?" to "Oh, hell. Sorry jfarb." Good luck with life.

Just a FYI, it seems you do not get minutes for walkovers anymore.

I think blank lineup may have never gotten minutes from walkovers.

Oh, hmm, that's weird.

Not sure what happened, but my merch dropped 18% this week. I lost a league game, but I also won a league game, and I didn't sell any players last week...I'm at a loss.

With the sucky TV contract, and the low Merchandise profit, this could be an ugly financial season, and I have less salary than last season.

What are you complaining about? This just shows how little you understand about BB!

Right now the NBBA has about half it's teams tanking, and only 3 or 4 real contenders. Typically more than half of the games each week result in blatant punts.

Take my team for instance...I have proudly served my fans by losing all 3 games this season by very wide margins. I have ensured losing these games by fielding a team under the Players Salary Floor. As a result, my fans definitely feel we are moving in the right direction! This strategy puts us right there with over half the league. As a result, we only dropped $974 from our Merch sales last week.

You on the other hand, have won 2 freaking games this season! You are competing, you are rocking the boat, going against the norm! Your fans don't appreciate such weirdness! Get on board, or suffer more financial hits! Haven't you figured out, BB rewards tanking, losing, and overall suckiness!

BB is not a place for competition and a drive to be successful!

By the end I couldn't tell if that post was serious or sarcastic...
