ok, i thought i just saw another guy said that they had to drop out this season but will be back next season. I am ok doing just the one. seems like alot and didnt want to really do to much. i will be happy when the other guy is able to come back in the league.

No worries. We still have almost 2 months to go, so plenty of time.

I'm new, but I have read in the forums to start on arena and gym.

To start right away is great. There is nothing special to play this game as a HG-team.

1. arena first … in a couple of Seasons add training court and gym.
2. staff: level 4 is sufficent at the beginning, add youth assistant after you drafted 3 18/19 yo trainees.
3. don‘t spend money for anything else than arena and scouting at the moment.

Hurtado and Browm are good to go: i would suggest to give them: inside Def, Handling, outside Def. and inside shooting. Focus should be on Brown (higher potential).
Next season (5 Trainees hopefully) Continue with 1on1-Frwds.

Try to get in a good position for the draft.

This season will be boring, so try to learn about Basic mechanics (get Full training!).

Some great advice there. As Erik noted, arena and scouting (and training what you have) should be a priority.

thank you. i think i am just going to stick with the 4 trainees, i dont want to have to remember to log in and do scrimmages each week. i will just keep building on arena till i get 20k seats. thank you for the training bit. i will keep it in mind.

...it went dark here for awhile. I hope all teams are doing well as we move into the second half of Season 67.

So, with the Allstar break behind us, and the second half of the season in front of us, I think we should finalise the HGL as the start of Season 68 (when the HGL is set to begin) will arrive soon!

Here's what I can do:

1. I can create a new forum thread (for Season 68) and list:
-the teams competing
-a reminder of what HG is (provide link)
-a reminder of the PickUp (PU) process (provide link)
-a reminder about having say 6 PU tokens saved prior to the start of Season 68 to organsie the first number of games.
-A brief explanation of the structure of the games for the league

2. I can bbmail all 14 teams again and have them reconfirm their participation in the HGL

3. Anything else required.

Wagner, or someone else will need to:

1. Set the rules and regulations for teams and games

2. Decide on whether MVP votes will be done, how and monitor it.

Just a thought : we don't HAVE TO be 14. It's easy to play with 13 teams !

Doesn't seem to be anyone really engaged here and I'm not doing it all alone.

Maybe a HomeGrown Private League will have to be created?

Would be nice and easy. I could create quickly at start of next season for all those HG teams who can play :-)

I think we should give up MVP vote now (maybe we can implement this feature in the future)

Private league as alternative seems great -did we consider it earlier?
We will have table, top players etc -seems very nice for me

maybe we could make list of some reserve HG teams (just in case if anything happens to original 14)

We did, but some managers, including Wagner, do not have supporter and so cannot compete in a PL.

Looking through the list of teams, most are supporters. This, combined with the sudden silence or eagerness of managers in getting this HG league up and going for next season...is the only reason I even mention the possibility of a PL. It would certainly make everything easier, but then some teams would not be able to play.
