Another possibility???
This is the program I used to randomise the draw AND it is setup and ready. I was going to use it for myself anyway, but...
...can people access this page? https://playpass.com/x/16-team-basketball-schedule-RZUatii
I have made it available and maybe anyone can edit it now? Not sure. Can some of you test it please.
If so, then I can simply add in the data each week. :D
I am able to view it but not edit it. It looks great though.
Awesome! What do you think, Wagner. I'm happy to input the results each week. Then anyone can click on the results and ladder and view it.
Thank you for your initiative, MrJ. :)
In my current opinion, some kind of league table (that necessarily doesn't have to update as fast, if you would have league table for instance in playpass) could be beneficial to remain also at least on another official HGL thread.
I am not familiar at all with Playpass (and it's functionality). So I'd have lots of questions... for instance:
1. Which and how many attributes can you use to sort teams out on the league table, and can you add any non-typical categories of your choice?
2. Is it easy to apply orders in which teams are organized in the table after each round, in this order; 1. most points, 2. least forfeit losses, 3. winner of the regular season match (probably not possible, I hope I'm wrong though) 4.most wins 5.best point aggregate, etc.? (For instance, point aggregate is practically almost purely cosmetics, and remains there for familiarity and for statistical reasons mainly).
3. Also, can you define exact point for wins, losses, etc. as we use system here where you are also awarded a point for a loss (and 0 points for a forfeit loss)? As of right now I don't see points at all on the table... I think having control over these aspects would be important, in order to be able to implement a planned point awarding system.
4. Can you edit table so that forfeit loss actually automatically shows up in a league table (or can you do it manually by adding any number to a team forfeit amounts on league table), and takes that into account when organizing teams in order from best to worst after each round?
Or does that 0-50 loss show as a regular loss, without a chance to add number (that negatively affects team position through less points - 0 instead of 1 for normal loss - and through being rated lower team if other team has same amount of wins and less forfeit losses) manually or automatically to the league table?
(I mean for instance in Excel you can create a rule where least forfeits is better, and while you have to remember to add number to the league table manually, it works when you do remember to do so. In this case I wonder if 0-50 forfeit loss is just that, and you can't take that into account in a league table?).
It does, of course, look more stylish than the table done with BB text editor - what a shocker. ;D
However, I hope it's also possible to add for instance above categories/functionality (and also rate teams by "least" of something instead of only "most", when arranging teams) to the league table.
