BB is a slow game where no more than 5-6 things happen a week (3 games, training and maybe U21/NT games). I guess boneheaded decisions on behalf of new players happen because they can't wait and want to do too much too early without reading a single word from Game Manual. Such people can't watch a movie, read a book or play a game if it's not interesting to them in first 3 minutes. These generations are product of mass consumerism and I think BB is not a game for them.

Well first things first, yes I think noobs get enough cash, just that they don't know how to spend it.

Myabe if we give them a BB Mail with some tips of what to do and what not to do (just a simple auto message like this):

Title: Welcome to Buzzerbeater!

Message:

Dear X,

Buzzerbeater has approved your account for buzzerbeater! Welcome to the game and I hope you enjoy the game as much as we do. Here are some helpful tips so that you can start your team in the right direction; buzzerbeater is a marathon, not a race so hope these tips will help you lead to early success!

1. Don't go to the transfer market! Yes I bet right now your thinking, "I got a bad team what else do you think can make my team better?" well going to the transfer market may not be the best thing. Lots of managers early in this game made huge mistakes by buying "monsters" and large salaried people, causing their team to go bankrupt within little time. There are lots of other solutions to make a team better

2. Build your arena. The only way to get more cash is to get more fans in those seats! The way to get more fans in the arena is to build your arena! Building your arena will not only make your team better but give you a foundation to your economy.

3. Read the Manual. A lot of players make mistakes because they don't want to read the game manual. If you would read the manual you'd have a much better inoformation about the game and what you want to do. Link to Game Manual: (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/rules.aspx?nav=Rule...) and here is the link to the FAQ (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/forum/read.aspx?thr...)

Good Luck in buzzerbeater!

Also it would probably help if your new team can get at least *1* good, young player to build your team around. The player could be over 3000 salary with Perrenial Allstar+ potential, and 18 years old; the rest is off to luck. I was pretty disappointed in my team finding I only had 1 worthwhile player and still he wasn't the right fit. Then I go and see other rosters with 3 or 4 18 year olds with allstar+ potential and some HOFs and MVPs and SSs in the mix; I get mad about that too. At least give a new team a PAS 18 yo to start off and have a foundation for your team

It totally depends on which country and league you start in.

If you start in a DIV II or even a DIVI, you should get more money and a bigger stadium. If you are lucky enough to start in a DIV IV or DIV V, the money might be sufficient for a beginner.

The problem is how fast you can close the gap to the older teams. I posted like half a dozen of solutions how to fix the issue for team that have to handle much stronger opponents (those that come to my mind are: bigger arena, more money, expansion draft, put newbies in lowest possible league).

But of course the same old story - no money for the developers - will keep the game moving sideways at best.

[quoteI dont like the more money or arena seats things though.

I just pointed out that there are many options to solve this issue - yet nothing has been done about it, for many years unfortunately!

If you put a new player in a situation where he/she will have to sit out like six months of boredom, to finally catch up and be semi-competitive, how long do you think most of those users will stick around?

In Austria 94% of the new teams go bot right away, the other 5% stick around for some time and die a slow and painful death. Maybe 1% makes it. In addition to old teams quitting, you get a declining userbase, which makes it even worse. I bet the situation is the same for other countries where the gap is insanely big.

It would be so damn easy to fix, that it almost makes me sick nobody is doing sthg.

Knetch, I agree so much with you !

The money could be a way to fix the problem IF it was not possible to put newbies in lower leagues. But of course it is just sub-optimal. The right move is simply to affect newcomers to lower leagues.

Could a GM explain me why it is not possible ? Thx
