Obviously he is stocking up on OD to beat you in first round. Your surprise run and gun offense will do no good here.

Then it's time to jog & knife!

but sigh... the regular season was beyond pointless it turns out. Your first round game you get a team that inexplicably just CT'd me & now has no enthusiasm going into the playoffs. While I get a team who's top 5 make what, almost 70% more than mine...

...so out of nowhere i get stuck playing the top spending team in the entire league round 1.

Interesting turn of events :)

Round 1 could be fun to watch... Really not sure what teams I'd bet on at this point, any predictions? I think I would have to go with all of the home teams in round one if I had any money on it... But since I don't, I'll say home teams in Big 8 and away teams in Great 8.
