Good game BC. I am being out managed and out strategised early this season. BC selling players so of course he is going to try to get the most wins with them before they leave and it was a Rival game, but did I do anything to try and counter that? Nope, like my friend the ostrich just stick my head in the sand. Wrong enthusiasm, wrong defense set, and he predicted our offense. I am glad there is no call in radio show for this league for fans to roast me. Oh well, I tell myself this is A long season:)

đź“… Week 3 Recap
Another wild week of League II.4 action: some contenders steadied the ship, while others are still trying to find the floor.
⸻
🏀 Game of the Week
Bench Mob 87, The Reductions 86

This matchup had all the makings of a statement win for The Reductions, but chaos flipped the script. Momentum swung when star guard Martin Mazl was cooking like Harden on fast-boil, and the Mob sent Papitzakis to brutally assault the PG, sending shockwaves through the arena—and perhaps the league. Everything tightened, and Naujokaitis finished off the Reductions from the stripe leaving the league stunned. League officials have yet to comment on disciplinary action, but whispers are growing.
⸻
🔥 Statement Win
FR-S 127, BC Lituanica 105

Let’s not sugarcoat it—FR-S looked like they had rockets in their shoes. Pushing the pace from tip to buzzer, they overwhelmed LTU with 38 assists on 53 made shots. Five players scored in double figures, with D. Kasilovskis and R. Zviedris combining for 42 and 12. C. Mullins quietly dominated the paint with 14 points and 15 rebounds, while F. Rocher dished 10 dimes. Even Pessach’s 23-6-6 couldn’t stop the freight train. If this is the new baseline for FR-S, they’re not just dangerous—they’re terrifying.
⸻
📉 Off to a Shaky Start
Wobbles 83, Meridian Hill McMornings 88

Wobbles, a preseason contender, now finds themselves staring at an 0–3 “upside down” hole. While not flashy, Meridian’s won because of their execution Wobbles in the half court, with balanced team scoring and suffocating defense. S. Samara was again efficient, and Meridian got to the stripe 31 times to Wobbles’ 18. It’s time to start asking questions about Wobbles’ cohesion.
⸻
🚨 Keep an Eye On…
Wellington Warthogs 87, Llama of Wall Street 81

Wellington keeps winning quietly—and efficiently. R. Wong exploded for 30 and 17, while T. Bunn added 23. Their aggressive man-to-man defense kept Llama’s guards off rhythm and forced the offense into tough mid-range looks. In some ways, Llama was stronger, but the Warthogs executed better down the stretch and stole this one on the road. Don’t look now, but they’re 3-0.
⸻
đź’Ą Bounce-Back Blows
Tasty Tardsicles 103, Innovatus 90

Tasty is back in rhythm. Their offense found flow with five players scoring in double digits. Jimenez led the way with 17 points and 4 steals, while the bench added 33 pts to keep Innovatus at bay. For Innovatus, C. Zigui’s 30-point effort was wasted where their defense simply couldn’t get stops when it mattered.

California Supreme 116, Ferth Ozone 90
California came out swinging behind sharp ball movement and a 12-point 4th-quarter run that put this one away. With six players in double figures, they shot a blazing 54% from the field. Ferth’s sloppy offense (17 turnovers) sealed their fate.

Kiwi Sheep Pimps 93, Delta 9 77
Kiwi Sheep’s discipline was the difference as they easily held off Delta 9. C. Guaraes pulled down 16 REB, and the team held Delta to 77 pts. Karlis Rae “Jepson” may not be on the trade block anymore—but he’s clearly not calling around for another roster spot.
⸻
📉 Just a Footnote
Wasco Tigers 144, The White Walkers 31

Nothing to see here. Wasco’s entire starting five got cardio in and maybe a free smoothie.
⸻

Appreciate the kind words, man - good game to you too. Honestly, I was out of the country all last week on vacation with no access to my laptop, so setting tactics was a mess. Pretty sure that cost me the game vs FR-S on Saturday.

I’m back now though, so hoping to settle back in and catch up. Still a long season ahead, like you said - plenty of time for things to swing back and forth. Looking forward to the next matchup!
