Right and then the cheater detection/reporting punishes both cheating teams making it not worth it. Maybe some would be missed but anyone that cheated enough to matter would be noticed, I should hope. Not to mention other solutions with how new accounts get money: they could be changed to start with less money and get more supplemental income per-week. Or to get the $300k when the account is approved so that at least new users could log in, look at their players, set lineups, request scrims, etc.

Anyway it's useless to focus on negatives/punishments/restrictions. Especially when userbase is starting to show a negative trend and cheating is not a serious problem.

Well actually the concept of this game is to have the best team and to win many games (and have fun aswell).
And getting to that you need money, so why not having a Game Operator (GM) database where "suspicious" transactions are visible. Also you would see users playing from the same IP, heck you can put alot of features there (of course i´m not even sure if you already have a tool like that)

It is no need to cut the fun from a newcomer, let him/her buy and sell players/staff and improve his/her arena, but cutting the fun just isn´t right.

I have been a Super Game Operator, Forum Moderator and Game Admin in Gameforge and i´m not rubbing it under the nose or something but they have quite nice and well working coma tool.

You get to see a lot of cheating in the game and propably ban around 50 users a day, but even without counting the banned users the games are still getting more and more users. So i think it is a good idea to make players not want to cheat but it is also wrong to take away the exploring fun of building your first team from newbies.

Hei, let´s face it your first team is crap, and by not being able to sell or buy the players is wrong.

Yes you can make a lot of damage even with 2 hours, even with 1 bid but it should be obligatory to give GMs rights to undo bids, and all these undo changes would be visible/highlighted to BBs to check if GMs are working fair and square.

Well if to have some timelock on new users so they can see how many hours they have before they can start doing transactions would be good. For example in the upper right corner. In my opinion listing players on the market and the right to buy new players should be on the same time, because it would be weird if i would list my 15 players of a team with 18 players and i cant buy any players.

Of course having a timelock f.e. 48 hours for buying new players would not affect a team since he cant sell his players before 72 hours when selling them. But if we would restrict new players in the begginning with timelocks then there should be a set of timelocks in the upper right corner (for example like countodown to a new match) so a new user would get a good look how long he/she has to wait to do some transactions.

Maybe it would be a good idea to make players read Advices. For example if a new user wants to buy or sell a player he/she needs to read "Transfer list tutorial" and after reading this there is a quiz (to make sure he/she even read it).

It wouldnt need any new employees behind the game, there are a lot of GMs right now who can do the work. A countdown timer for me wouldnt be unrealistic because for example if you put it for 48 hours it is sure someone will look into it before that counter reaches zero.

People live by the clock, go to shcool, work or gym by the clock, some even eat or take dump by the clock. That´s why it is good to have a timer. People like to know in what time their account will be looked into and for example if GM will have a look with 10 minutes the timer will go away. And it wouldnt be so much coding aswell.

Well that is why i suggested the tutorial before making transactions, buying or sacking staff and building arena. If you have a timer people know when to check again to use other features and wouldnt check every 10 minutes until getting bored and never come back.
