I'd be pissed if my motion lost to a 2-3 zone in that fashion.

I feel like I can see Resmi's skills right now and he is complete ass that should not be leading a less effort road win against my club

Full disclosure, not for sympathy, just for context: One of us may have spent Memorial Day weekend in the hospital and is no longer in possession of his gallbladder. I do apologize if I have said anything particularly galling or besmirching over the weekend, or over the past 10 months in general. I can't really promise that I'll be less erratic or offensive moving forward, but at least I'll feel better while I'm doing it. And pacing back and forth is actually part of the recovery process, no one paces back and forth better than I do, especially when I'm getting my ass kicked at something.

Sorry to hear. Hope you have a quick recovery!

I’m happy to have finally made it to the NBBA so figured I owe it to myself to at least make an intro post. Had a previous team that sniffed D.II once before focusing everything on the national teams before I left the game for a bit (RIP California Knights). Retuned to the game with a plan to get here about 3 years ago now and roughly stuck to it, as one does with any long term BB plan, and it actually paid off! Competition has been tough (no pun intended) so I’m looking forward to seeing how my squad stacks up and doing our best to hang up here. Good luck all!

Well, I'm the converse of Coach Shnuffy, I definitely took a step back this off-season as far as competitiveness is concerned.

I think our game was close enough that if I hadn't cheaped out on my PR guy then I might have scraped by with a 1 or 2 point win. At the last minute I picked up this 33 year old Frederic Owstien, (46977157), to shore up my roster. He was sitting at 110K with a few minutes to go, and a TPE that is still between 300-400k. A couple other bidders showed up but I'm still pleased to have him for the $195,000 I ended up paying. But... if I was going to buy Owstein, and pay him 70k a week, why would I cheap out on that last 5k for a crowd involvement guy? Honestly, because I thought Owstein would be enough. I took it out on Resmi, but I didn't even look at him until after the match, or do much else in the way of scouting or intangibles. I'm just frustrated because if I pick up a win there, then maybe I'm looking to keep Owstein and add a guy when people tend to start loading up, instead of trying to flip him into someone that can get me back to being competitive. It's those little things...
