My last 2 League losses could have been possible wins, these fouls are killing us... my last 2 League losses my opponents went to the charity stripe 84 times.... Sat. game my 1 BIG fouled out in 8 minutes... is anyone else experiencing an excessive amount of fouls this season.... or is my team just overly aggressive... any thoughts !!!

I went through a stretch last season and the first part of this season when we were fouling like crazy. I'm starting to wonder if it doesn't have something to do with the traing regimen. No evidence for that claim, but I have always done a lot of team training and the foul count seems to drop whenever I revert back to more traditional methods. Could be just coincidence--but I'm not entirely convinced yet.

I have no scientific reasoning behind this... just observations over the years.

If you played good opponents the last few games, go back and look at some old games. I honestly believe there is a correlation between high driving and drawing fouls. Especially if your big guys do not have decently high shot blocking.

So if you are always on the high side of fouls playing against top tier teams, that is a possible explanation for your problems.

You will also see more fouls if you are playing someone who is attacking you inside. There are just so many more shots inside the paint where the big guys have a chance to foul.

>>> Thanks for all the input on the Fouls topic, with these observations I will take a closer look at my roster to see which players seem to fit the profile of the responses... good luck to all...
