New teams should expect lower attendances for the first couple games, as they build up a userbase. However, since it seems to be a bit too low for some users, we're looking into this currently.

first game earned me 11K, then second looked from my opponent as 20K ish, then I filled out my stadium in 3rd game so that's 45K. Guess it just takes a few matches yeah (cup match in between 3 and 4 too). No idea on the 50K bonus thing as I've been here one whole week and one partial week, deffinatly didn't get it the week of the partial and not showing anything for this week although assume it was the first proper economic update I had and that my costs and that bonus balanced more or less, and just aren't shown on the economy page.

*for info since I've quoted figures I have a 8 PR guy and won all 3 games (plus cup) in the top British League*

I will currently loose 11K a week aparently as have 50K player salery, 13K for staff (11K for PR and 2 basic 1K guys) and 7K merchandise. A home game brings in 45K.
That is right by my calculations. I have 161K though. Do we get money from away cup games? If this was 11K and I had 50K one full week I'm right.

Sorry to type all this out but maybe given an example not just moaning, GMs etc. can explain and others see for themselves an example (especially new players a week or few days behind me)

just read elsewhere I get 1/3 of away cup money. Kinda harsh since both games away but oh well.

Also I can confirm that the income is nowhere on my economy or area page and that's why everyone is confused. Also the 50K looks from my example as if it has gone in but again no reference for that except the new balance and disecting it. Maybe we could have a more detailed breakdown of the last week/update aswell as the weird prediction thing on the economy?

expenses
salaries 50K
staff 13K

income
home game 45K (x1.5 home games) = 67K
merchandising = 7K

so by my math that's 74K in income and 63K in expenses... plus 50 K a week for being an early team...
your budget seems more than balanced.

I agree that the current implementation of the economy page if flawed and needs to give more details... but i'm not convinced that everybody is losing money.

It is a mess, for instance I logged in this morning and went to the economy page. I have 50k less in the bank then I had the night before yet I have 88k income. This must have something to do with me not getting the 50k a week for being a new team but I'm confused by it. Can someone explain? I feel I'm losing a lot of money for no reason...its been happening each week for awhile.

so my proposal was to try to turn it into a bank statement kinda format...

where each week it will show you the previous week's balance, then income and expenses which when added up will give you your current balance.

we can also have sections which go into more detail as to breaking down the salaries and the income from arenas, and maybe even transfer income into who you bought and sold.

what do people think of that?

i'll make up a static demo page...

forrest

so forgetting that the numbers don't add up right across the page and it generally looks ugly.. this would be the rough idea.
