based on my experience i would say, if you have an ok passing/handling guards with sf and good inside scorers play look inside, if you have good passing/handling guards with sf and an ok inside scorers play low post. passing at center/pf also helps a lot. if neither of those apply to your team, do not play inside.

So much depends on the match-up between teams, that in this type of discussion it is very difficult to get a consensus because there really isn't one. I have scored 130+ playing the slowest paced tactic in the game. I have scored 70 playing push the ball. Tactics should be chosen based on your team's relative strengths against a particular opponent. This is another reason why having a balanced team is a good strategy. It allows you flexibility to play various players and various tactics to match up better with different opponents.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

I understand your point. Say I Play look Inside all the time but have the outside scoring to full back on. You play me 2-3 Zone, I have scoring out there to take advantage of it or enough inside scoring that your D doesn't matter. Hence the debate for L.I. or L.P. as a default way of playing.
I don't think you need to change systems all the time if you are exceptional in one area, but good enough in another that you can full back to it.

This is a very interesting point to me, if this is true. I have spent alot of time on the Passing element of the game, moving my team to Med Hig on Offensive flow, so this would work much better for me than L.I. If there is no other issue with scoring over L.I. then this would be the answer I was looking for & set this as my "Default" way of playing. Default is used as 85% of the time.
Anyone else dispute the L.P over L.I. as stated above?

I agree with smedlock. I would also like to add that in look inside your guards need decent inside shot as well as they will take some inside shots. This isn't as important in low post.

I used both offenses interchangeably. you need good inside player, obviously.

and basically to play LI, you need a SF who can do everything really well (passing, shooting etc) and low post is slower in pace but its much better if you dont have a good SF.

so faster offense - Look inside - play it against weaker teams or teams that you have better gameflow against.
slower - Low post - stronger teams and try to keep the game tight. its very good if your an inside team. be sure to have a PF with bit of outside skills or else he will turn the ball over.

I played LP yesterday against my opponent. My team payroll is 88K, and his is 145K, so I was the heavy underdog. We both played normal, and I beat him 115-77....My team had 45 assists on 53 made baskets!! I would say that LP is pretty pass intensive :-)
