Balanced, inside and outside focused SFs are all discussed in the FAQ:

well the reason I asked this was because originally I was going to put my dominant center at SF for my game 3 tonight, because I am always predictable in running LI or Low Post and didn't want to lose because of playing an inside based offense. My center is my best player by far and didn't want to take him out of the game so SF seemed pretty safe. However my center has 1 OD, and 5 JS I was trying to find the offense that uses the SF for more of a mid range game. I know Princeton, Motion, R@G are outside based, and I am not using LI or LP, so the safest bet is Base PTB, or patient.

Just thought you guys would like to know my reasoning.

Lots of layup attempts. High DR + low IS = "tries a driving layup. Shot missed."

You sure? Cause I'm not so sure. I'm guessing that the game engine uses the driving skill rating vs ID skill rating (as the shot is taken).

Well I won my finals game 3 playing princeton, and my SF's combined got 32 points 7 rebounds but only 1 assists.

Axis123: Unless the game engine changed following BB-Mark saying it worked that way then yes, I am sure:

I had some players with very good driving but atrocious inside shot. These players had a tendency to drive, but would miss a sick amount of layups. I guess that is why I felt compelled to comment, because this sort of hurt me at one point. I understand driving may be heavily weighed upon but it is my understanding that driving and passing create looks and this is separate from shot making.

None that can help my atrocious inside shooters hit a layup, but whatever floats your boat. Its all a mystery right?

lol

Yeah, I really have no idea. It's just my guess. According to some, driving affects very little.

The parrot tool seems cool.
