Guys I just joined.... Lots of forums and help things to read through... Is there an easier way to organize?

Read the Game Manual. It helps a lot. http://www.buzzerbeater.com/community/rules.aspx?nav=Rule...

If you need help with anything, don't be afraid to ask.

You're not the boss of him. He'll be as afraid as he wants to be.

Good point. I should edit that to read, "If you need help with anything, be as afraid as you like of asking, but if you care to ask anyway I don't give a fat whoop."

Hi,
I hope you don't block my swag. I don't mind if you block the swag of others though.
Thanks in advance.

Just joined up..after some folks asked me to. I play other SIM games (RedZone and Nasrac) and hopefuly get my B-Ball game in here. Got some help but this looks confusing at first.
Messed with the market and looked at my player skills and set lineup ...Maybe i should ask what to do first from the pros here???

don't go out there and buy guys off the TL first, thats my first piece of advice.

2nd, come join the USA Offsite (http://s3.zetaboards.com/BuzzerBeater_USA_NT/index/)

and bb-mail jfarb (28800) to get approved

and while you're at it, after you get approved, play around with ticket prices and other things. Check the forums, read the manual, ask other managers for help. After that ,expand arena if you want to and get some trainees but after you know what to do.

IF you want to get trainees off the bat, start off with stars and allstars potential, that way you

A. won't waste potential and
B. you'll get the hang of training a bit

after that, when you do know what you're doing in concerns to training, go out there and get some high potential guys....

hope this helps

EDIT

also, cut your roster to 12 players

Welcome! I just joined RZA about a week back. You'll find a lot of similarities here as far as the financial aspect of the game. The biggest difference I can say is it is important not to completely max your stadium straight away. Definitely build it up, but don't go too crazy. The offsite also has a ton of useful tools to use if you wanna number sperg on different things (like me).
