I find it interesting that a team that is in 6th place in their division could be ranked #4 in the USA.

I don't mean that is a diss to xtc..I know he's right where he wants to be....but in a general sense, it doesn't really make sense how that dynamic can play out.

I am sure it would be easy to pick apart the rankings...but another one that totally blows me away is Pappy's Dog River Dogs...they are first place in their Division, and in the top half of the NBBA by any standard...and yet the rankings have them ranked at #18, basically saying they are more like a D2 team. And by contrast there is a D2 team ranked #10 having never won a single NBBA game before.

I know being knocked out of the cup is not working in Pappy's favor, but his ranking was not favorable even when he was still in the cup...Again, I am not sure there is any way using common sense that Pappy's team should be ranked any lower than #8.

i just noticed the Whalers went three full weeks -- six games -- with Crunch Time effort. After i quit laughing over the image of those young players being run ragged for every game, i wondered what those enthusiasm levels reached. 1? 2?

what a wacky year for the Whalers. old players recovering from knee replacements and prostate surgery, young players with "negative enthusiasm" not giving a crap because every game is a humiliating blowout, all run by a crazed manager seeking out the Great White Whale in middle of the desert. gotta give credit for such thorough insanity!

My enthusiasm has been dropping to 1 after each game, but always settles back to 2 before the next game. Like the elusive 15 enthusiasm, I think 1 enthusiasm is only possible after a game and not going into a game, unless there are enthusiasm-sapping secrets out there that I'm not aware of. I'll probably go back to CTing every game now - I want to make sure I don't accidentally win a game and mess up my draft position, plus it's just fun to see how negative I can get my PD 8}

If you were still in the cup, and in a Private League...I think you could play your private league game on Friday at 1 enth :-)
