Good luck finding a better online game.

My recreation isn't limited to online games. I'll likely increase my time on board wargaming and photography, for example.

- Injuries are not fun, I agree. But by now you should know that a +2 injury means a healing time >2 and weeks. Be happy if it is less than 2.5 weeks

Allow Newton to share also my experience with you and add to your comments... I play this game 3 season now, and how always happen from the 12 players you have playing in a match, always your best will be injured!!! it is my third season as I said and my third player injured... different each time, always in the begining of the season. And each time it took them to heal 1 or 2 weeks extra time then initialy noted!!! even if when I hired the highest doctor with 9 level... I wanted to heal my best PG he was also playing in NT, I spent all my money on him it took me two season to recover, and this " bad luck " continue to happen.

You lose all your fun and interest in the game, it is not fair... they say 2 weeks to heal, it takes 3 to 3.5 weeks where in every week you loose 2 league games, and 1 cup game if you are lucky enough and still playing in the cup !!!

- If you are still upset because you won PO final 2... what would have you done if you lost the conference final in this way (4107330)?

Very bad tactics : Zone 2-3 against a Run & Gun. And he even doesn't Crunches this very important game. The defeat is everything but a surprise.

Me, I got a pleasant surprise yesterday. I had planned the extension of my arena and thought it would never be ready for my next game and it finally took one day less than planned :-)

I tried to give you a polite answer... apparently it was not enough.

I really don't like your attitude... what you say is truth and what I say is obvious... if all happens in bb never cheers you up I wonder why you are still playing.

Here is a list of good surprises for me:
- being able to give almost full training to 6 players (on two positions).
- my top players playing a hell of a game (like today Zanoncini against a $44k salary player)
- pops in secondary skills
- good team rating (3 respectables today playing on the road)
- guessing the right tactics in tight games
- being lucky with an easy game in the national tournament
- no injuries before an important game
...

doctors don't speed up the healing process.

From the rules (recently updated):
Doctors help prevent player injuries, and when injuries do occur having a good doctor will make them less severe.

Are you also able to tell me how a strong (low) against a mediocre (high) can result in less rebounds (15-58 vs. 19-60)?

One team is playing "Crunch time" while the other one is playing "Normal". The players are therefore motivated and they'll take more rebounds though the Crunch doesn't appear in the team stats. You seem not to take into account this factor.

But even against a Crunch, you would have won if you didn't have used a 2-3 defense.

at that time the ratings were still reflecting the team attitude.
It was a bug that was only fixed at the beginning of this season.

but it does not matter anymore :)

I don't consider any of those surprises. All of those are the results of careful planning. As to 'no injuries' the lack of bad luck is not good luck, it is neutral.

I don't ever 'guess' at tactics. I choose them carefully based on my team's strengths and my assessment of my opponent. I know about what my ratings should be, too. If I'm wrong about either of those, it isn't bad luck, I simply wasn't good enough.

I wonder why you are still playing.

I keep winning.

Something obvious is necessarily true; what is your point?

What you don't get about my discussion is that I don't consider the result of a careful plan to be 'good luck.' It is what I am expecting to have happen.

Here's an example of what would be a tiny bit of serendipity:

Last night I had my third consecutive sellout, with an expansion in the works, that's all I could expect. Why could the game have generated, say a Standing Room Only walk-in crowd of 200 that paid $5 per head. That would have generated a mere $1k in extra revenue, but would have been a pleasant surprise.

Things like that would greatly enhance this game.

See something good suprised me a few games ago. I didn't think I had a chance to beat a team so I TiE to just the benefit of enthusiasm for the next few games, but I won anyway! And it was by 1 with him missing a 3 at the buzzer. Awesome suprise :-)

Also getting bots 3 rounds now is suprising and good for my cup and pocketbook.
