smallest communities will be invaded by foreign players... a really bad idea

Hi,

Are you really enjoying the game with 8 "official" active users in South Africa ? In Senegal we are 11, and to me it's not enough to have fun...

Once again you got it all wrong. If you do it out of altruism then why the hell you are demanding something in return for that?

Edit Perpete:
Watch out on what you are saying. Thanks.

Issues and possible solutions:
1. draft pick ordering enables second teams to tank and hog all the best trainees
- give draft priority to local teams

Possible new rules:
12. New Manager Bonus rule. Secondary teams do not get the 4 initial weekly $50 000 bonuses. The experience acquired by the managers in their primary teams should compensate for that.

If those two are implemented I'm personally not starting second team:
- fun with creating teams out of completely local trainees, with out need to buy veterans and still being highly competitive is completely taken way.
- new rule putting new team in significantly worst conditions compared to exiting teams in the league.

As a solution for first issue I would recommend to implement waiver draft where all draftees fired by secondary teams will be acquired for free by primary team with a next draft pick. Also they can be spread among primary teams randomly.
Same mechanism can apply if secondary team goes bot.

I fully agree with the exclusion of the new manager bonus for second teams. Yep, it's for new managers, not new teams :) And it's only 200k anyways.

Also, we should think about the no salary floor period. Cut it down, or eliminate it completely. For micronations, it's basically a tool to abuse the system. I totally abused it in div II, invested about 3 mil into my arena, in my first season only. I imagine it's even more in first divisions. Too big shortcut, in my opinion. Basically, you earn tons of money from attendances, plus you earn tons of money at the financial update.

With these two, local managers would really have nothing to fear. I mean, it's like boxing, while your opponent is allowed to use one hand only LOL After that starting advantage, it gets fair and square.

Other thing, I certainly don't agree with draft reordering. What about people willing to help out the community they join? If I made a second team in Serbia, I would look to contribute to their national team, not sabotage it. Possible cheating should be dealt with in other ways, not like this.

I honestly can't understand your complaint on the second one. As Marin points out, the experience you've already got far compensates not receiving the initial money for new managers.

Money are for the team not for the manager. If money are for the manager let me finance my secondary team from my primary and vice versa. Sounds like a bad idea, is not it?

So once again, since it is opinion exchange thread. If those two are implemented like they are descried I'm not having second team (simply not fun for me, this game is about fun, is not it). Though I will be still not against idea of the second team.

What am I demanding? You are who are demanding to me to pay or anything to be able to talk about second team... my opinion has less importance than yours because i am not supporter??? Really???

I do not speak English
But I want to give my opinion
This proposal seems like a desperate act to regain active users.
In two years under 55 thousand to 30 thousand users.
and the solution is not to give a 2nd team active users.
The solution is to advertise and attract new users.
Or capture the old users that are no longer.

Advertise = $$$$

So how does one advertise with limited resources?? If you could give me an answer I will advertise myself the same way!!

Furthermore this proposal is not a desperate act, but rather it is in line with what other online games offer to their users. This is simple act of keeping up with the industry. And let's face it BB is not for everybody - this game will not appeal to individuals who prefer quick results with little or no brain activity on their part. People will join and then they will leave if it does not suit them - fine! Those that stay will benefit - those that leave won't know what they are missing.

this game actually needs better word of mouth more than anything. But this is a hard game to explain for those unfamiliar. However sending out an email to cancelled accounts would be a huge step to possibly regaining some users.
