Howdy everyone. I just joined this game today and am still figuring it out but i think ive trimmed the fat off my team pretty well and have picked up some quality players to help my team already. are there any big things i should know about getting started that could be useful to me? I already read the whole game manuel (Believe it or not) but are there any hidden or less known tips you could give me? Also I know I probably sound like a mega noob asking this but can you guys +1 ball me a few times to get me going and give me some inspiration? Thanks

E.B.W.

Enjoy your balls!

Oh, wait, that's not the advice I wanted to give (not that!). It seems like you've got a pretty good grip on things (again, not that!) so you'll be fine. My advice is to remember that while they don't really show up in the post-game ratings much, secondary skills are often undervalued -- if you have a big with atrocious passing and handling, for example, he'll be a turnover machine.

I think the only response to that statement that I can make it that I am sorry.

I'm hopson. Been here since season15. Successful team so far. 14-0. Hoping to promote. I'll be here for a while. Just want to make my presence know since I would love to run for U21 or USA manager. Maybe even another country.

I've found working in another country to be extremely rewarding, and you can really learn alot about the game by getting involved with the NTs.

True, the ins and outs of the tournaments are a lot to digest. Any experience managing at this level is better than none. There are a lot of little things to learn and no better way to learn them than to experience them first hand.

I have heeded your advice, as to how well is another issue. I am crushing my league, but I would still be pwning them even without the moves I've made. I am taking George Allen approach to matters in that I do have some vets signed. And I am shopping for value without regard to nationality, I figure going homegrown can be best accomplished by building up a brand first, then courting in country talent. I did get a little transfer money for a couple of existing scrubs, but I worry I may have sold one of them into some sort of Hong Kong slavery ring. As for whats left from the existing roster I have a couple of my existing players that are moving right along and whom I feel will provide quality contributions for a while. But there are still several originals that are going to be hitting the bricks pal.

But since you have taken a look at my offerings let me know what you would suggest that I add to help make my transition to DIV smooth as possible. Should I keep the overpriced and aging center I have for another season or two or do I dump him after this year so that I can get a decent return on him? Is having homegrown young talent really that important this early in my franchises development?

Also a question about ticket prices, I kept them super cheap, $5 bleachers, 20 lowers and 50 courtsides, bumped it to 7,35,65, now going after new years to 12, 40,100. Will I run the risk of overpricing my market?
