I dont know much about PU Games, can we schedule multiple pickup games at a time? Or do we have to wait till one is over to schedule it?

Like, could I go ahead and send out all my invites now, so I dont have to worry about it in the future?

Just I Wonder questions. :-)

I have loads of tokens, I dont mind being on the list.

I feel, just basic communication will be key between the coaches.

Thank you, now there are already 5 of us.
Exactly, that is very important. Communication is the key for most things in life, and if communication between the coaches could be ensured, then a lot of 'the official communication' wouldn't be as essential (as things/issues would get worked out anyway).
Having said that, there's often a reason behind certain rules/guidelines (not all the reasons are explained in rules/information-section, as articles are long enough), so 'official voice' of the league has also it's own meaning too.
I'll try (and have tried) to form a relatively comprehensive information package for current and future managers on those official threads, keep official threads/information organized in certain way for continuity and ease of use, and keep on providing support/opinions/decisions if and when need arises.

But it's certainly great to have a community here in where also other managers are active, and probably some of you guys visit Buzzerbeater even more often than myself, which helps us as a community to resolve problematic situations faced by a single user a lot quicker (should they contact through HG threads).

Frankly, I'm joining the club as I have only so much experience with PU games. Excellent question indeed, which needs our immediate attention (or contact to BB devs/owners) as the core idea is to organize all regular season matches in one short time window.

But note for all managers:
Please do not start organizing matches (sending PU invitations) before we get everything sorted out in terms of deciding which format we'll use in sending challenges. It could be one of my propositions, in which case 8 of us would volunteer for sending all challenges and neither of the rest would need to do it.

An important note and question is made throughout the rest of the post, @everyone:

At the moment, all times between 00.01-23.59 are possible times for organizing matches, due to being able to organize some matches in relatively convenient times (if one would want to follow match life etc.). However, the person who sends the challenge has the control on when match takes place unless a specified time when match starts is being given by HGL.

Now on the other hand this is a bit problematic, as if one team would send all his challenges, he would have control over match times unless we can agree an exact time (for instance 4.30PM EET, Eastern European Time, etc.) when match takes place. 4.30 PM EET would be approximately 5.30-9.30AM in USA, 10.30AM in Uruguay, and 10.30PM-12.30AM in Australia.

In one sense, having a fixed time for each match would solve the issue somewhat equally. The problem is though, that we are positioned all over the world from Americas to Europe to Australia, so fixed time would be somewhat compromise to all.

On a positive note though, fixed time match would make it easier in two reasons: time is already known beforehand, so nobody would complain that 'the teams that send me challenges constantly choose awkward times'.

Also, having a fixed time for match would also create a routine/standard for the league, and very/most importantly, would make it impossible to make a rematch if some managers would be into it, for, let me just say, for "various reasons".

I do really like the idea of a fixed time, I am Eastern USA Time, but I dont mind if the game is at a odd time, I probably wont be watching it live anyway, My BB time is limited.

But I am for sure in favor of a BB designated time.

I would 100% support Commish @Wagners decision of what that time is.

I can send invites for all my games.

Problem might occur if two teams with low qty of tokens will play together......
Or am I wrong?

Thanks very much, T-Lit, for your trust and giving opinion straight away! :)
It always speeds up things when people openly state their opinion ASAP (they have made up their mind)... Let's hear what others think of designated time for matches!?
The more I think of it the more I personally like it.

Only 2 to go after you volunteered!
So you meant that if one team would become "a challenger" (which takes 15 tokens), that doesn't have that many tokens?

That would truly be a problem... And that's why we try to find volunteers (2 more).
If we won't find volunteers, then we need to likely resort with the old plan, so that everybody sends half of their challenges. But I still think it streamlines things if half of us would do that, and other half just accepts all the offers. Now that the responsibility is shared, it's more complicated and especially more prone to errors in some sense.

Also, it would be way more arduous to edit league schedule with BB forum text editor tools, whereas if we choose 8 challengers-option, we can just mark those responsible for sending challenges to a team name list with a simple sign, such as *C* (or whatever we'd choose to use).
