Looks like Webster needs to revise their definition of the word Ugly.

Last night my team shot 8/20 (40%) in the 1st quarter, and then went 12/50 (24%) the rest of thew way. After the first quarter we scored 24 points from the field, and 15 points from the FT line. Not normally a recipe for a win.


Ha, that was an ugly game. It was tough to watch live. I walked away from it a few times...but kept coming back for more brutality

Thanks I don't think I'll be half as lucky against Upsyndrome as I was with my Super Bowl pick....I am afraid we are terribly outmatched in this series :-( I think my only hope to keep it competitive let alone have a chance to win is for the GE to be terribly mean to Ups and give them major foul problems.

Aside from that, maybe my team got 80% of our post season missed shots out of the way against Anchorage and we will be a scoring machine in this series :-) Not likely!

It really is, he's good.

Personally, I really liked the broncos chances:
best defense + HOF QB, I'll take that combo any day; great game!

I love defense too, and that has always been the cornerstone to my teams....However, my defense is not quite there yet...I have said it before, but I never expected to be playing in Championships this soon, I promoted to the NBBA at least 2 seasons too soon....However, I have put together quite the scoring team while my defense tries to catch up.....

Neither Anchorage or I have a horrible defenses, but I don't think either of us would say defense defines our teams...both of us got to the Conference Finals because our teams can score....So that being the case..I have no idea where all those missed shots came from in that game...I honestly think it was more about a bad day of offense, than our teams playing great defense.

NBBA Trivia Tidbit:

This is the first time since season 3 that the Finals didn't have at least one of the Conferences #1 seeds.

Crazy enough, the two #1 teams in s3 were King Drive Ballers and Ice Storm BC!
