For the first time, i took the time to understand training and really focused on improving my younger players with high potential and made my lineups based on that, not so much winning every game i could. It went okay and I'll still be in the playoffs. Really screwed up taking it easy a round too early in the cup though.

The acquisition of Timos was a important one this season, he took my team to another level of competition with his unique build for sure. Sure his injury will have effects on my team performance but salary don't always tell everything…my younger guys had improved so much during the season and I'm sure they can step up and fill the void for 2 weeks.

Sure do hope to make it back to DIII, how ever, this season of DIV had actually taught me much more about training, I'm patient enough to train now and have a better sense for the team financially which is a good thing to learn before going back to DIII hell hole again. HAHA

good luck to everyone in the playoffs!

p.s. to Ilseum, don't matter this season! I don't have anyone particular in mind so I will take whoever I can LOL

Completely agree with this. Training your players during the season really pays off in the playoffs, since you get great players with a cheap salary and your opponents will most likely underestimate you if they don't look closer and only look at salary.

I am pretty sure you will get a good player, even picking last. The improved 19 year olds will make this a deep draft.

That is bad luck for sure. I just lost my center for 2 weeks myself.

My goals are always to continue training my players, and make the playoffs, so I'll consider this season a success even though I'll be one and done in the playoffs.

You are not?
Damn, all your players played more than 74 minutes last week and they all increased their GS and DMI.
That's why I thought that you might have trained GS. The second one of my players reaches 69 minutes in a week, his GS and DMI drop immediately.
Is your player's stamina so high or what other secret do you have over there? ;)

Good luck to those in the playoffs who have survived! That's all she wrote for Two o's in Goose this season. I had an off season this year...screwed up on managing my team...as for earlier this season I went on vacation earlier this year and forgot to set my line-ups a couple times resulting in some forfeits....I need to think about re-building scenarios...if not I might be stuck in this league until 2025....Good luck to all!!
