I would like to see a short flash animation about the top 5 or why not!!! top 10 of best moment of the quarter.

Prob a lot of server load there. Anything that increases load is likely a bad idea. At least, until more people start paying for supporter.

why would you remove the waiting? it's great for me, i can go take a smoke break, make myself a coffee or whatever else :)

OK, I agree partly. I agree when you say that there still should ba a halftime period, but it is simply too long to wait. It often happes to me (and a lot of other players i'm sure), that I stop watching during halftime because it simply takes too long to wait. Why just not shorten the halftime period and make it equal to double the time period between first and second / third and fourth quarter. So 2:30 minutes between quarters, and 5:00 minutes as halftime period.
That way people still have the time to go to the toilet, get food, drinks, ... or something else, like you say AND other people who are just waiting for the game to resume don't have to wait soo long.
5 Minutes seems ideal to me, in that certain people can do what they have to do, and the others who are just waiting only have to wait 5 minutes, so they'll just stay at their computer and won't leave the game during halftime. So everyone's happy !! So maybe something to consider, because 5 minutes will be much more applauded than 15 minutes. Just do a poll and you'll see !

More and more great suggestions are starting to come up in this thread =) Lets hope something of it catches on the BB's.

I think the possibilities are endless, you could even add some trivia like:

"Team X has only lost two times in this season when up by at least 5 points at half-time" or
"This is the fourth time in a row that player X gets in foul trouble early in the game"

I would really love topless cheerleaders or bottomless cheerleaders ....How about this ...the team winning at half gets the naked cheerleaders and the losing teams gets the naked old lady cheerleaders...hahahahahahaha
Or here is an idea. open another tab and read a good article on the net...last week I watch the top 10 dunks, assist, buzzerbeaters, best games and the best ally oops of the 2011 season on NBA.com...it took 12 minutes .....

How about instead of the clock counting down to zero, it started at zero and counted up? That would hold my attention.
