I didn't think it was that complicated; I was trying to offer a simple visual ladder everyone can access easily.

That information has been there below the league table for quite some time now. :) Handling all this communication through forums (as opposed to dedicate website, for instance) during development stage of the HGL is unhandy to such extent, that with this order that I have created on official HGL threads, I have no easy way to announce all small additions/changes to rules, so that they would be easily visible.
(Remember, 'announcement' sections have no characters left to add, and as there's a major announcement available, I don't want to mix things up by adding something to that same post anyway). Now that I think of it, I could've written a post about such changes these official threads, and maybe will do so in the future (after some addition/change), but I've prioritized getting things done instead. And if I had done it by sending post to Homegrown teams II-thread, it would've probably drowned to the flood of posts anyway.

But as for my questions above (about Playpass), does it allow all or any of those possibilities, or only win-loss (winning-% based league table with no additional categories with possibility to give values to different aspects (such as, for instance win x points, forfeit -x points, etc.)? Replying to my questions (1.-5.) would give me better idea what's the level of functionality of Playpass.
If points allocated can't be changed (if you can't tell Playpass how many points you want to have awarded for a win, loss, draw, etc.), as long as there's not an error in my thinking here, we could also theoretically use point system in where a winner would receive 1 point, loser 0 points, and for forfeit -1 point. That would, of course, still require usage of a league table that uses points as a primary comparison method instead of wins, or possibility to add a category (forfeits) to league table that is taken account when arranging teams to correct order. Naturally, as long as forfeits wouldn't exist, that kind of 1 point for win, 0 points for losses league table should reflect the same league situation as the league table kept by me (unless of course I use my original plan, with 2, 1 and occasionally 0 points awarded per match).

And as I asked earlier, is it easy to "print out" each individual teams' schedule for the season, instead of full schedule? If not, this is still doable (by each team individually), things aren't just going to look as neat, structured and standardized in their posts.

Point of "complicated" (personally I don't see it as complicated) here is to discourage forfeits strongly. As far as I know, similar point system is used in Finnish highest level basketball league, Korisliiga, to penalize teams who commit forfeits (that in real league, of course, hardly ever happen).
Now that we will send all match box score links to scores thread before season starts, it will eliminate the possibility of matches not being played and forfeits due to that - forfeits due to other violations, such as playing wrong players or too small of a roster of course remain; but please do not start sending those links just yet as I will first write an informative post about it here.

I was just thinking that this week-end n in the night of Saturday/Sunday, EU will change its time :D
It happens for France and many others, but I'm not sure that EVERY countries do the change...

This is most likely the explaining factor (as we discussed in Homegrown teams II-thread a bit earlier), if match time seems to be 1 hour off - if it's off more than 1 hour, then we need to look at that issue on case by case basis, so any of HGL managers, please let me know if you end up in a situation like that yourself. (We will also see starting times of matches before season starts after we have created match box score links to all matches prior to regular season, but more on that soon).

That's right, not every country does the DST change, however, without more thorough research, I'm not sure if every country participating in HGL uses it. It appears to me, that Daylight Savings Time is not used in Argentina and Uruguay (2 participating teams in HGL) and in some parts of Australia (2 teams in HGL, but out of them Deano25 possibly the only manager located in area where DST may be used (?).

So if they are off more than 1 hour, then I'm likely going to have to message you about it soon.

Please remember we will send all box score links to a forum before regular season begins. Each team does that themselves, after reading my informative post about it (in creation). If one is familiar with the process without reading an informative post, they are already free to proceed by following MtJ's example, here: (324689.683).

If you follow MrJ's example above, in an ideal situation, if you could also add a day when match is played, for example like "Round 1, April 7 - v. Trouville BBC" (if we use MrJ's format as an example). While it would be ideal for you guys to use full team names when you make that post, if you are really short on time, nerves, etc., you may also use official team abbreviations (such as TRO for Trouville BBC) available in HGL schedule.

Please send that post of yours to this official HGL Scores Season 1-thread.

As you may have noted, all participating teams of HGL will be required to send box score links for all of their regular season games to this HGL Scores Season 1 Official Thread before Season 1 starts.

First notes A)-F), and then instructions on how to complete the process.

Notes:
A)these score links will be added to one post per manager, that can then be edited throughout the season if needed.
Links will be added to one post/manager to avoid overcrowding of HGL Scores thread, and for being easily searchable.
B) links to box scores (from your post) might be copied to the official HGL scores thread's 'Schedule/scores'-post
C) instead/in addition I might link your box score posts on official HGL schedule/scores posting, so that each team has access to box scores of your games easily
D) in playoffs, we will use this same box score post (and same link) created by each team
E) please never delete box score post then created by you, we might need it a lot later in order to confirm things.
F) Here's my example on how to accomplish this, here: (326590.44). But please still read through instructions below before proceeding.

Instructions on how to proceed with writing one post about your HGL box score links:
Remember, that you can't finish this process completely before all HGL matches for regular season are organized properly and visible in your team schedule page.

1. Go to your official BB schedule page, which is found from https://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/XXXXXX/schedule.aspx
(where X is your team number)
2. Click "Tactics"-link (between team names) on your HGL match that you wish to link (If term isn't 'Tactics' in English, it is the link what you use to set up your lineup and tactics for the match).
3. Once you enter on tactics/line up setting page, match number of that Pickup (PU) match is revealed to you in the browser's address line. It looks like this: https://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/XXXXXXXXX/tactics.aspx and number in place of this XXXXXXXXX is your match number.

Now at this point, you have two ways to proceed, described below as 4A (that everyone on Season 1 used) and 4B.
Choose a preferable way for you and please stick with it for the whole season. Method 4A would be way preferable.

In your box score-post on HGL Scores Season 1 Official Thread, you enter links for 15 matches.
For each game include Round number, a date game is played, and name of your opponent (like in my box score post example, link above).

So to your post, link the box score in either way:

4A):By following above instructions you are on the match tactics page already, so copy/make note of the number of the PU match (visible at web browsers' address line). Then on this thread update it to your box score link post, and do so by using 'a basketball button' on the page into where you write text to be sent to forum; that is located above the text frame. Pressing a button will automatically create a string of text such as '[match=XXX.XX]', and as you replace XXX.XX with your match number, the box score link will be automatically created. It will create a functional link to a match box score, which will look like this: (132386153).

4B) by a direct web page link to box score, such as: https://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/XXXXXXX/boxscore.aspx (in where XXXXXXX represents the match number). You can simply access this by visiting above mentioned match tactics page. By following above instructions you are on the match tactics page already, so Pickup match number is visible to you. If you choose to use this 4B-method, you can copy-paste https://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/XXXXXXXXX/boxscore.aspx-link to your season box scores link 15 times (one for each match) on every line, and then for each line replace XXXXXXXXX with your Pickup match number.

5. Do this with all matches.

One of the easiest methods, that creates a standard for the league and for box score reporting, would be to use this official schedule as a starting point, here: (326590.5).

For illustration (and usability) purposes I copy-pasted a schedule from that post (found from below).
You are free to copy-paste this league schedule information (below) to your new HGL Scores Season 1 Official Thread-post, which includes links to your all regular season matches.

After each line (on the table below) add:
A) Names of both teams playing in match, or
B) 'v.' or 'vs.', and name of opposition (for example Trouville BBC, or official abbreviation TRO, if you don't have energy to write the whole name).

In addition you of course need to add box score link to the match after team name(s).
Instructions for that provided here: (326590.42) (close to the end of post, at 'So to your post, link the box score in either way').
