Did your fan survey take a big hit after winning on Tues? Specifically the "I am pleased with the team's performance this season"

My fans were surprisingly happy with the current season *until* after Tuesday's game, where it fell all the way down to 1...

Your absentee fans that didn't bother showing up most of the season came for the playoff game, only to find out it was a relegation series and that isn't what gets the courtside seat patrons on Sportscenter.

Yep I went from 3 balls to 1.

I don't get it... the regular season ends & everyone is content. Then you win an extra TV game, & suddenly the fans treat you like a 22 loss team. "How dare you impress people on TV!"

So hypothetically if a 5 win team finished 5th in one conference, & a 13 win team finished 6th in the other... BB would punish the 13 win team more. And for the entire next season probably. That's just bad game design IMO.

Well my players take up the entire first row anyway, so face-time would've been limited at best. Plus this guy was in row 2: (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/player/6494392/hofplayer.aspx...)

I *did* put up playoff-level ratings though! 10 players with 13+ ratings. (Could've even beat 1 or 2 of the actual playoff teams?)

I've been training him constantly (with a few weeks for stamina/FT/GS, which I kind of regret a little) for the past 9 seasons. I would have thought he might make the NT, but the problem is that he doesn't have the OD to be a SF and MVP potential is borderline to be an elite PF. Still, I think his secondaries more than make up for what he lacks in rebounding (and 14 ain't shabby). I think he has more shotblocking than just about anyone on the NT roster too.

The next go around, I think I would try to get a 6'8/6'9 HoF guy, train the OD/Passing to 12 (and other guard skills) then hammer out the big skills. I think I could make another similar to him and anchor the team at PF/C again in an outside offense.

Really training him up was a lot of fun, and I have an interesing idea. I was thinking about going after a 6'4/6'5 guy soon, training for a season or two and then getting the 6'8/6'9 guy. The 6'4 would act as a SF and the 6'9 would be a PF. They would train the same for a while, so they should both have good secondaries. Idk if I could pull off getting them both, but we'll see. Maybe it's something to try in Utopia.

Sorry for the wall of text, I promise I'm not Wolph.

I'm guessing it's the last of the promotion bonus wearing off? I assumed it had stages and went down after the intra and inter conference league games.

But that wouldn't explain smallfries...
Plus I won 8 games after the AS break & finished around .500, so it wasn't an *awful* season. Like, let's say it wasn't me, but a newer team just promoting here for the 1st time. Wouldn't you say that deserves more than 1 ball?

Well the fan survey was always weird. I'll type out a long anecdote from when I went 21-1 + swept the playoffs later.

Now that you've said 5x5 is a thing, I keep noticing near misses. Like tonight my PG came up 1 steal & 2 blocks short...

Maybe I'll create my own weird combo stat later. Likely involving some combination of turnovers, negative PD, missed 3s, lack of assists, and PP100 under a certain amount. And 5 guys have to accomplish it. It can be the 5x5xfiVe. (capital V is for VIRTUE, so I ain't gonna hurt you )

(There's a Hrudey waiting outside your door... (How much longer?) And Hrudey's bucking and braying and pawing at the floor. (How much longer?) And Hrudey's howling with pain and crawling up the walls (How much longer?))

I really think the fan survey sucks. Hey all you BB's out there listen up! Your Fan Survey is way too harsh. Why do you think everyone is tanking and day trading? Its the only two ways to make any money in this game. Yes, I train players and sell them but that takes FOREVER. While I'm venting lets talk about two other things that I don't like about this game STAFF prices and availability, and the Draft. First, who in the real world gets a raise every week they work? Nobody raised their hand did they? I thought so. Staff are treated like Rock Stars in this game, with their huge signing bonuses and weekly pay raises. You trim your roster so you can generate a little income while still maintaining a competitive team only to see your weekly profit slowly get eatin' away by staff salaries or totally blown away by a bad FAN SURVEY. Did I mention that I hated those? I'll be back to talk about the Draft after I take my blood pressure medication, I'm gonna need it.
