His jump shot is good but not much range. Vinnie Soto guy (main competitor) better range, but worse shot. I think some logic to Soto being a Center and Salas being the PF. Between those 2... they both are like 6'10, 6'9 area. so not much change for either in that sense. Especially when you compare the 2... Soto has better Shot Blocking. Training will make all the difference in the world.

Perhaps the stronger case for Salas over Soto is the difference in OD. PFs are slightly weighted in outside team defense and do have to defend outside shots, so Salas's 6 OD is much better as a PF than Soto's 2. But still, it's a long way until season 21, so a lot could change. Both or neither of these guys might be contenders by that time. We don't know for sure, but they're both top competitors for roster spots at this very early stage.

Nice job there. I assume that you know how to single-position train. Just keep pumping his primaries and if you need help or want to sell him, just let us know. Do you want to make him a C or PF?

No worries, cheers. I've trained up an Australian U21/NT C before (Dally Wilson) and a Philippines U21 PG, so I've got some experience training national players. I'll most likely train him up as a C for the reasons you guys mentioned above, and it fits well with the Australian 18yo I'm training too. Currently plan to rotate him on 3 weeks on the three big man skills.

Great prospect, just keep pumping his primaries this season, and train his secondaries during short weeks.

First of all, I think he looks good. I will also assume that you know how to single-position train. He can become a really good player with training. Unfortunately, with only perennial allstar potential, it will be very tough for him to make U21. Great player for your club, though!
