Let me quote you just real quick "I said his "talent" cant be matched"....which would make him better than everyone? Correct? Seeing as one would measure how good a player is, is with the talent they possess right? Obviously you weren't done. And I was backing up my own points to the forum in general, not to you. I don't know where you get off calling me a 3 year old and to kiss my LeBron poster? Obviously someone can't back up their own points and is reduced to petty jabs. Good on you breh.

R u stupid??? Dwight is the best C in da nba rite now. He rebounds, blocks, has a powerful presence inside. Ever since he worked out wit pat ewing his post game has been unstoppable, and has also added a nice bankshot. No center is touching dwight rite now. And to answer the forum question my boi kobe bryant is the best player in the NBA, and the 2nd best of all time. I just had to correct this horrible thread u put up about this great center. The reason he loses is becuz of his team, he does his part.

1. king james- come on u know hes the best
2. durant
3. chris paul
4. gerald wallace- i know its od to have him here. but how can u not rate a guy high that so greatly improves any team hes on.
5. westbrook- soo fun to watch. completley unselfish. great deffense. and very young.
6. nowitski- hes the best white dude in the nba. hands down.
7. kidd- again, he also improves any team hes on greatly. plus hes old, white and can still ball lights out
8. joakim noah- god i love watching him play. hes all heart.
9. d. howard- i know hes currently better than noah. noah still has allot of room to grow. and fits better into any team.
10. rondo- i knew as soon as he got to start he would become big. and hes such a defensive asset to any team he would play for. like some of the other guys on my list he has allot of heart and i love watching him play

i know my list isnt tipical. and some of the guy prolly shouldnt be on here. but these are my favorite top 10 guys. i defend my list but saying that these guys may not all score like kobe melo or some of those other guys. but if u notice i weigh defense as a major quality. and how well they would fit into any team. these guys would all make any team a continder. plus most all of them are young and has not reached there full potintial yet (except kidd and nowitski of course). so what do u guys think. oh and kobe ( the rapist) isnt on my list because he simply would not improve any team as much as any of these other guys. kobe has proved that he cannot be a focal point anymore. ok yea he might still be able to put up 50 on a given night. but i bet if he does the team will loose. i consider him to be the aquivalent of allen iverson (before he disapeard) sorry if i upset anyone. and duncan was close to being on my list... the dude can still ball, and is still underated.

i put lbj #1 partly cause im from ohio. and partly because he really is that good. the only part of his game that he needs to improve on is crunch time... allot of people focus on the close games that he couldnt close out. but he has closed out allot of games very well. all its gonna take is a big playoff game that he actually closes out for his team and everyone will get off his back. hes just dont have the experience yet to do so.. jordan wasnt real good at closing till he was about 26-27. bron is right on track. closers are usually vets that have been around long enough to know how to be patient. robert horry is one of the all time great closers and he didnt get there till he was about 29-30. he wasnt all that affective during the season but when the payoffs came no matter who was on the team they looked to him when the game was on the line... howard paul rondo i agree is in the top 10. i just got a different view on how much they bring to a team. howard needs a great guard to really acheive all time great status. mourning had tim hardaway. shaq had anfernee hardaway then kobe. malone had stockton. almost all the great post players have had great guards to play off of. k love is a unique player. i jsut hope he isnt one of those players that puts in 1 or 2 great years then falls into obscurity.

Dwight Howard is the best C in a league that doesn't have any real Cs. Considering how weak the competition is at his position he should be putting up double the stats that he is currently putting up. Just look at the Cs on some of the elite teams- Joakim Noah, Tyson Chandler, Dejuan Blair? Not to mention the Cs on lesser teams like Darko or Reggie Evans(played C in toronto) Dwight should be putting up Wilt Chamberlain stats every night. Just look at what a 38 year old shaq did to Noah when they played during the season. Go 20 years back and great teams had centers like David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, Shaq (young), Hakeem, Kareem and even tough defenders like Bill Lambeer and Dikembe Mutombo. In the magic's series against charlotte (a year ago), the bobcats played physical defense and held dwight down to 9.8 pts and 9.3 rebs ! Against someone like Lambeer and the bad boys, that would have been more like 5pts and 5 rebs. If he can't take playing against Cs that are half his size today, players like Robinson would have owned him back in the day.

Even his blocking and rebounding is not that impressive. By this point in Robinson and Hakeem's careers they had already averaged over 4 blocks per game. He only has to contend with players like Joel anthony for rebounds... he should average 30pts 20 rebs every season. His footwork, skills, handling and ball IQ are so low that even though he has a strength speed and size advantage he still doesn't match the performances of players like Shaq in their prime. A 24 year old Shaq would easily be a 33+ pt and 20+ rebound guy today. Dwight even has trouble dominating players like Glen Davis or Tyson Chandler at times, when he should be scoring over them like Wilt. Heck every time he faces Noah he should grab 40pts and 30 rebs. The last time someone had such a physical advantage over the league at their position, they averaged 50pts and scored 100 in one game.

While Dwight may be the best C today, he couldn't even come close to any of the great Cs in past eras. Look at his finals performance against the lakers, he struggled against Bynum and Gasol. While that may look pretty big now look at what players in the past had to deal with. Bynum and Gasol is nothing compared to Robinson and Duncan. When Shaq went up against Dikembe Mutombo (4 time defensive player of the year) he averaged 34ppg. Bynum isn't even close to as good of a defender as Mutombo and Dwight was barely breaking double digits in scoring- he only hit 1-6 FG in the first game of the series. Even without his scoring he should have still grabbed 20+ rebounds and 3-4 blocks. The worst thing about Dwight is his horrible passing and handling. He has led the league in turnovers before and continues to be near the top in that category.

Hopefully their will be a new generation of true back to the basket Cs that show fans of today what a real center can do. When they arrive they will make Dwight the average C he has always been.

i agree on your statement on howard. i listed him on mine because he is the best c right now. and i do like watching him play on most nights...i think allor of what his prob is right now is hes becoming annoyed by a team that cant get him a good guard to play off of him.. they have brought in some guys, and u can say that the have tryd. but the magic have failed misurably. the only way hes gona be the dominate factor that i bealive he can be is if he gets traded. or gets a great guard...like cp3. having great outside shooters to play off him isnt enough. he needs a floor general. even if they brought in nash or kidd even though there well aged there still better than what dwight has had at pg.
