The problem is that often in the scrimmage you sometimes want some spaz who you wouldn't dream of playing during the league games to come into that one game and have 48+ minutes. At the same time you are trying to manage to minutes of your other players so may just want for example your normal PF to play as backup SF so they have the right number of minutes for the week but then they decide to randomly log 2 minutes at C. Of course it is a blowout because the guy I was playing for 48 (well 46 it turns out) minutes at C was an atrocious stamina spaz. That is annoying!

If you want to get a player 48 minutes you must dress 9 players, the player you want to get 48 mins for should be listed as the starter, backup and reserve (yes, all 3) Set up your starters and give each of them backups; remember only dress 9 players. Now for strategy, if you use faster offenses your 48 min player may get into foul trouble and foul out, so if you can use slower or just the Base Offense. Also use strictly follow depth chart. These steps will help maximize your chance of one player getting 48.mins

Never have that problem. My starters usually log 70+ mins a week because I can fit 2 league games into 1 training week.
