Time for Philly to panick? They were counting on Flashover dancing with the devil.

The Great 8 must be very strong for Philly to be in 6th place this late in the season. They can still sneak into the playoffs if they win their last 3 games. Gremlins have had 2 separate 3-game losing streaks. 11-11 might be enough to get into the playoffs but that is not guaranteed.

Barrett only played 1 minute in my game against Flashover. Didn't see the game, but it looks like he got injured within the first minute. Flashovers center shot 12 for 19 against my 1k salary backup. That was the difference maker. If Barrett was healthy it would of been a whole different game.

He was injure for the game only...either his game shape sucks, or he was just experienced enough knowing that your team was gonna lose anyway. LOL

I usually TIE up until the playoffs

Philly will need their enthusiasm against The Gunslingers if they sneak into the playoffs.

The replay confirms that Jamie Barrett was injured in the first minute of the game. Philly still would have lost that game but it would have been closer.

Shannon is more like a 3rd string center. He did play well against Lemonnier for having such a small salary. With that said Lemonnier is on the transfer market. Not to mention Fenton who reminds me of Pringle.

Philly pays $210k weekly to just 3 players. With that said Kandora is back on the transfer market.

I always felt that the starting center is the most difficult player on the team to replace. Even the great LeBron James would be overwhelmed trying to guard a center like Dwight Howard.

last year the Big 8 "dominated" the Great 8 in inter-league conference games

The Gunslingers helped the Great 8

Ram is upset that I did not look at the Big 8 but I am not in that conference.

Wait so we you can just say what peoples emotions are now?

GForce is amused, TheMan10 is sad, and 3ball is giddy. Is that how that works?

Actually I am not upset at you only going over the Great 8 because there is nothing happening over here in the Big 8. Perhaps there might be the unlikely case of PuffPuff getting out of the relegation spot, but the chances are very slim and almost not worth mentioning.

The Great 8 does have some excitement still because both playoff and relegation spots are up in the air still. Not that I think that matters too much because the Great 8 is predicted to sweep the relegation series. Which I would say would be for the betterment of III.4. Personally I would like to see PuffPuff pull into 5th place and bring LBC soldiers into the relegation series, but his loss to the inactive rodent molesters will probably be his demise.

Also the #1 spot is still legitimately up for grabs in the Great 8 with barely any PD difference Red Wolves could pull into the #1 spot if he wins his game at home against the Slingers.

And lets not forget that you have a team currently in 6th place saying that they are the best team.

To say that the Gunslingers didn't help would be lying, but he did not do it on his own. (keep in mind, last season you had the Hayward Lumberjacks who went undefeated in inter-conference play) It was mainly due to all of you Great 8 rookies having a good season compared to the Big 8 rookies. Lemony's departure really hurt us as well, but I know the classic response to that will be that you have the Royal Challengers which is also true. Which I would agree the Great 8 is the tougher conference this season even though we still won the All-star game and the 3 point competition. I don't think is a person in this league that wouldn't have rather been in the Big 8 than the Great 8.

Raise your hand if you thought that the Challengers were going to be the team that decided the Great 8.

I would not say that the Challengers or any one team decided the Great 8. We all get to beat the Challengers in the same way.

The Challengers had a good roster that beat Michigan on opening day in a game that could end up costing Michigan a playoff spot.

The Challengers changed the Great 8 and Lemony’s unexpected departure changed the Big 8, but I would say that the Great 8 has not yet been decided.

I am not ready to concede the Great 8 both relegation series. Gimme The Hot Sauce has somehow lost 8 games in a row and they would not have the home court advantage against either PuffPuffPass or LBC Soldiers.

It also means that I am not ready to write-off PuffPuffPass who beat LBC Soldiers twice this season and is not playing too badly winning 4 of their last 6 games.

Technically the Gunslingers did not replace the Lumberjacks who were a better team.

The Big 8 started as the stronger conference with Lemony’s team a definite playoff contender that somehow beat the Barbarians. We did expect to see 1 new team from the Great 8 in the playoffs but not 2.

I have no preference as to with conference I would rather play in. The Great 8 is more competitive, especially with Lemony’s team no longer a factor.

Yes the biggest game of the regular season could be the Gunslingers at the Red Wolves for first place in the Great 8.
