Can you actually speak in the name of all other members of you community in saying that this could not be any more fun and competitive?

No, of course ..... but I always say "If you really want to know it, you have to ask everybody" ... and not everybody feels comfortable discussing in english ;-)

So, I personally think: more competitive? yes! .... less communication? yes!... at least more Users in BB? No!

2. Yes, it is. Financial issue is something temporary, this is not why we lost tens of thousands of users. Real problems are that this is a long term game, and if the prize isn't worth it, tanking and farming will just simply not attract that many people.

your own words: "Can you actually speak in the name of all other members of you community?

do you think it;s fair for the many many people in macro nations to barely make it by with their cash, while the people in micronations are just sitting doing nothing first, second, and third leagues making cash like it was nothing? How about the BBs offer us a statistic of money per manager in micro and macro nation so we can have actual numbers.

just assumtions ... nothing more ..... for me it seems like Micro Nations have to blame for anything bad in BB .... but you are right: without hard facts talking about these problem isn´t very serious ;-)

1) Scrap Utopia as a nationality and make the draftees come from real nations. They all get random names and I'm assuming the names will be linked to certain nationalities so why not assign them to that country.

2) Seed the draftees so that more come from low ranked nations to help the smaller countries have a chance. For example 1/6 are from the top 30, 2/6 are from 31 to 60 and 3/6 from the rest.

This will solve two problems; the lack of competitiveness of micro-nation national teams and the fact no one cares about Utopian draftees.

While this is a great idea, it won't solve the problems of economic inbalance and lack of competitiveness in small leagues. And those are the main reasons for a merge.

A merge will also not solve all of the problems ..... maybe competitivness ..... but others? .. not for sure ... and maybe it will open up some new problems ;-)

and ... I don´t think that Micro Nations are the main cause for the financial problem ... It starts with Utopia .... Micro Nations were in BB long before Utopia ..... and the finacial problem could be easily fixed with other solutions (maybe less money for Utopian Leagues, less money for the same league level in smaller Nations and so on ...... but as I said before: without hardfacts you will be not able to have a serious discussion ;-)

It should make sense from a fair, logical and abstract point of view. most of the users would probably just choose for their own gain. also lots of users might have quit because of the micronationproblem. many might come in the future and will have to live with the changes.. I mean if you would have a situation where everyone sits behind a veil of ignorance....but that is another story.

Pretty much this.

Hupfingatschs solution to everything would be an expansion of the BBB competition, which of course would be so much better for everything.

Hi. I copied my friend's comment because I agreed with him completely. I am totally against the merge and I'll leave the game if this happens. By doing this, you changing the game's real shape and form and you're making it worthless. Instead, you could tweak somethings about the game so that teams can become strong and powerful sooner and quicker than it is right now. Unfortunately, BB has lost many of its users because of bad policies and BB is destroying itself right now by doing this merge. From another view, I believe that the quality of users are more important rather than the quantity. Even with its low user number, Iran has had championships on B3 level and in NT competitions, which shows the abilities and cleverness of its managers. This is why I believe that including Iran in this merge is not right. I think that with a little bit of advertising and by providing easier ways of buying Supporter in smaller countries, the game could gain a boost if the mentioned are combined with right policies. I believe that this merge will have a negative effect on BB and it will just help the decline of the game.

To BB's success...

I don't think there is a lack of competitiveness in small leagues especially as they can get that competitiveness in Utopia if they feel their league is lacking. As for the economic imbalance I don't think there is one. Surely if there was a major advantage more teams from micro-nations would win B3 however only 3 of the last 15 have come from nations of less than 100 users.

I don't mean B3, I honestly don't even care much for this tournament. the imbalance is that the ratio of first leagues and lower leagues is off, due to so many leagues where only a first division exist.

there are 38 countries with less than 18 users. sure there are other countries with more registered users, which might also not complete a first division.

Also the lack of competitiveness is not only concerning high-end managers. If you start in a country like Germany, you start in a league with around 6-8 active new noobmanagers, some bots and maybe an old guy who is here forever and tanks because he is bored. they compete against each other in a very noobish way to promote to div III. I liked that part of the game, I made some friends there who still write me and wish me all the best when I promote.

How is it in a country with less than 18 users? You start in the first leagues and get lots of cash, but you still have to play against the top teams of your country. maybe there is only one team which sits on the throne for ages. I don't think it is fun. and I don't think you should pay for competitiveness and have to join utopia either.

Again, I am not speaking of countries like austria or iran. if they really want to stay independent there might be ground to argue for that. but those smaller countries of 36 or less users don't really have to have their own first divisions.

(but I shut up now. this is really non of my business...)

I don't know if you should shut up. You arguably make the most sense of anyone in this entire thread (from my perspective at least).

I think any country with less than 80 users should merge. It takes 80 teams to fill the first two divisions of a country. If you can't fill the top league and all of D2, then you should merge. One could make a point that they should make merger countries fill three divisions. The gravy train of easy cash needs to end. It is killing the economy.
