I wouldn't say they are the minority, keeping in mind they are the ones complaining about the lack of competition and they are the ones who made a suggestion about second teams.
In my opinion, Utopia/BB nation/Champs-Élysées/Mount Olympus is the best and the only option if this feature is going to be presented to the game. I know micronation teams are yearning for competition, but I would hate to see a foreign manager in my league. In Utopia's case, micro-managers could satisfy their needs, macro-managers could satisfy theirs. I don't see how Utopia could become less interesting in time, when you compete with highly acknowledged managers from all over the world. Anyway, that's just my opinion.

Simply answer to this:
I think major number of supporter came from major countries. Sometimes, competition is high level there, and it happens you might be blocked in the same div for centuries, sometimes for injuries/bad luck/tankers/wrong management by you and so on. Should you activate a 2nd team in a league where it can happen, and your training isn't for a target (no NT/U21) but just for OT?

I sincerely prefer to re-name Players/Have Jersey/have a court Logo-design than reply my team history with a 2nd team.

- second teams play in BB Nation/Utopia, all starting together at the lowest required level. Say, Level III.

Just a comment about an Utopia country. I think it's not very interesting for managers from a big country. Of course when this Utopia country would be launched, it will be nice for everyone to start at the same level, and a good opportunity for managers from low divisions to reach the top quickly. But in 10-15 seasons, playing in this Utopia country will be exactly like playing in a big country like Poland, Spain or USA. It will just be interesting for users from small nations, but they are the minority.

So I think it's important that the way how the second team would be added remains a nice feature for everyone, even in 10 seasons

Again I'm here to quote you. Do you remember van Gent? He's still in my team
BTW, you got it, Utopia for what? To create another boring macronation? The main aspect I prefer about this change is to compete. And to compete against new opponents, new way of doing things into the game and maybe to help (or be helped by!) another country to grow. Utopia is nothing more than a huge Private League, same old story, I mean.

I am all for this second team thing, even if it is for supporter and I am not a supporter. I think it is a great idea, but it gives supporters an advantage. The supporter page specifically states supporter enhances the experience but does not give any teams an advantage. In the rules you are prohibited from creating a second team because it gives you an advantage. Yes, I did vote that this should become a feature, I just feel it should slightly modified or open to the entire buzzerbeater community.

In an ideal world (Utopia, one might say!), perhaps you are correct. However, either with Utopia or separate structures or junior leagues or women's teams or college teams or regional teams or whatever else, any of those alternatives would require BB to undertake a massive addition to the database, creating new nations, league structures and perhaps special rules for players and whatnot. None of that is quick or trivial to implement. If they take the current route of allowing second teams in existing countries, they need to add code to flag secondary teams to disallow certain features, but they already have a league structure in place, the teams are already there, their games are already being simulated, etc. It's much less complex a solution, a much faster solution to implement, and frees up Marin that much sooner to continue work on stuff for the entire game world, rather than this nifty bonus for supporters.

You guys do know people such as myself will go to the weakest country in the world and win their nbba league and just demolish them and then they will quit. Have you seen dII for some countries? they have awful stats and if there is more people there, all of the natives will be run out and the top leagues will be filled with foreigners

I'd support this change (probably even invest in supporter) only if the second teams competed in the aforementioned "Utopia" league.

Second Team:
Euphoria Seekers
That's the best idea I've ever heard and, if implemented, will necessitate a renewal of my supporter package. : )
