Yeah, all told I cleared over $13M. I guess that is the going rate for a middle of the road top division team these days.

Here is a quick summary and my analysis of my roster purge (all selling prices before fees):

Player Bought Sold Profit Purchase Age Selling Age
Hinson 484,600 471,800 (12,800) 34 34
Berger 714,000 1,786,200 1,072,200 22 29
Kurcubic 2,202,000 3,084,200 882,200 22 29
Aminpou 757,800 865,000 107,200 33 35
Sultanov 462,500 2,583,900 2,121,400 24 28
Purdy 942,800 2,550,000 1,607,200 29 31
Britton 944,300 2,211,300 1,267,000 33 33
Galvan 500,000 250,000 (250,000) 35 35
Total 7,008,000 13,802,400 6,794,400

Hinson: A little higher than I expected. He had no skills drops until this past week where he a double drop in rebounding.

Berger: Way more than I expected. Only two seasons until he starts seeing drops and if they are in the wrong spots he becomes kind of tweener backup.

Kurcubic: Right about what I expected; take it as a compliment that KK Mordor was interested. Only two seasons until age sets in but he should be a useful player for at least 4 seasons. Very balanced and unique skill set, sad to let him go.

Aminpour: Expected to take a loss here. He has had multiple skills drops in 2 seasons but definitely still has some value.

Sultanov: Biggest surprise on the list. Goes to show how the market has changed since I bought him a year ago. Good player but only middling secondaries.

Purdy: Expected to break even. Two years older sold for much more than I paid for him.

Britton: Second biggest surprise as I got double what I paid for him. Honestly, I felt I got him for a bit of a steal at the beginning of the season but didn't expect this return. Was very fortunate that he has yet to experience a skill drop.

Galvan: Exactly what I expected. He had about 10 skill drops this season, was lucky to recover any value.

The big takeaway I have is that there just aren't enough good players on the TL these days to meet demand and hence the higher prices. Still, I am shocked at what I got given the ages of who I sold and the inflation specifically on players I have held for 2 seasons or less.

I have $14M in the bank which sadly might not be enough to build a serious contender but should be enough to get 3 trainees and a top level trainer. I hate losing though so don't be surprised if you see a quick reboot!

Wow, $6.7m profit. I knew I came back to the game a few seasons too late!

Amazing. This market makes me want to sell off my team; I chose a bad time to compete - I probably dropped around 20m.

By my calculation, I have about 15 million into my top 8 guys. I remember once rebuilding my entire D3 team for just over 2 million once.

anybody got a guess about tonight's Cup title game?

i never pick Jason in these games, but he always surprises me. so, i'm going with A-Dubs as a secret way of saying i think Jason may figure out a way.

regardless, congratulations on both squads for reaching the mountaintop, or at least one of two.

15m, really? Yikes. I looked over my transfer list and it looks like I payed roughly 17m. With the addition of homegrown draftees, Kearney + Meek, I'd estimate my team's overall value easily above 20m.

I'm just hoping to keep it close :-) My new big bridges the gap a bit, but my GS is certainly nothing to brag about. A lot has gone on this week that would have been fun to talk about, but I have had to keep a low profile after A-Dub tried to bully me into agreeing to a Mutual PON. I refuse to lie, so I just kept quite all week. I felt pretty strongly he was going to PON no matter what but wanted to improve his already strong odds of winning by getting me to agree to a PON...I did in fact Playoff Crunch tonight, so we'll see in about 14 minutes if I am right, or if I should have agreed to the Mutual PON :-)
