- second teams play in BB Nation/Utopia, all starting together at the lowest required level. Say, Level III.

Just a comment about an Utopia country. I think it's not very interesting for managers from a big country. Of course when this Utopia country would be launched, it will be nice for everyone to start at the same level, and a good opportunity for managers from low divisions to reach the top quickly. But in 10-15 seasons, playing in this Utopia country will be exactly like playing in a big country like Poland, Spain or USA. It will just be interesting for users from small nations, but they are the minority.

So I think it's important that the way how the second team would be added remains a nice feature for everyone, even in 10 seasons

not for you, but it's not first time someone forgot Italy as one of the bigger countries in BB.

I told that in my first post in this topic: Play in another big country for being with both my teams for 12 seasons in the same league.... naaah. Senseless.

:? Lets keep in mind the main idea: all new features should help BB administration attract new money by purchasing supporter to keep the game alive.

The discussion about options for second team (in real country or Utopia, men or women) in fact does not mean much in view of that main idea. It has meaning only for option itself, but not for attracting new sources. The administration will decided potential income and expenses first of all, and this would be wise.

As for me, I do not really see any economical sense in adding the right for owning the second team.

The major number of managers who buy supporter regularly will not buy supporter for secondary team, just because it is more likely for fun or something. From the other hand, there is no need in this global function to stimulate such managers to update their primary supporter. They will do it anyway, like me. Once I bought it, I will buy it unless I stop playing even without secondary team available.

For managers without supporters, adding the secondary team availability is not something that will make them buy their first supporter, is it? I would prefer to have it just to add my team logo. The secondary team option is the last reason why they will buy supporter.

Also, I wouldn't pay much attention to poll results, because I think the majority of those voting YES are supporters just cheering new function and those voting NO are non-supporters who would like to have everything for free.

After reading most of the posts in this thread, I will say you make sense at every turn.

You have failed to mention some of these "fantastic ideas" people dream up are just posted for the sake of being contrarian.

Seems pretty simple, vote yes or no on the proposed. This would be a great optional toy for anyone that is willing to support this game and it's design team. Key word is optional. If a supporter doesn't want a second team, it's pretty simple, don't do it. If you are not a supporter, either become a supporter or don't. It is really that simple. If you don't want to pay for the game, fine, but voting no just to limit the enjoyment others get out of the game is kind of douchey.

The way it is proposed currently by Marin is designed to tackle a few problems the game has now. It accomplishes some of everything. It does a whole lot more than doing nothing. I have been a supporter since season 12, I believe my current supporter is good for another 53 weeks and if this goes through I imagine I get supporter for the secondary team as well. It's a good game, I really like the direction Marin is taking it, I enjoy the EGM involvement of late.

I voted Yes.

I wouldn't say they are the minority, keeping in mind they are the ones complaining about the lack of competition and they are the ones who made a suggestion about second teams.
In my opinion, Utopia/BB nation/Champs-Élysées/Mount Olympus is the best and the only option if this feature is going to be presented to the game. I know micronation teams are yearning for competition, but I would hate to see a foreign manager in my league. In Utopia's case, micro-managers could satisfy their needs, macro-managers could satisfy theirs. I don't see how Utopia could become less interesting in time, when you compete with highly acknowledged managers from all over the world. Anyway, that's just my opinion.

Simply answer to this:
I think major number of supporter came from major countries. Sometimes, competition is high level there, and it happens you might be blocked in the same div for centuries, sometimes for injuries/bad luck/tankers/wrong management by you and so on. Should you activate a 2nd team in a league where it can happen, and your training isn't for a target (no NT/U21) but just for OT?

I sincerely prefer to re-name Players/Have Jersey/have a court Logo-design than reply my team history with a 2nd team.

Again I'm here to quote you. Do you remember van Gent? He's still in my team
BTW, you got it, Utopia for what? To create another boring macronation? The main aspect I prefer about this change is to compete. And to compete against new opponents, new way of doing things into the game and maybe to help (or be helped by!) another country to grow. Utopia is nothing more than a huge Private League, same old story, I mean.
