You make a lot of good points above. One comment you I thought you were to go in a different direction but it didn't materialize that way. For the draft, in those multi national settings, why not just have them draft from a country based draft. So say all the users in Japan get lumped into one draft. They get slotted in with bots to fill out a sixteen team draft if needed. A couple of drafts if the user base is over sixteen and so on. This keeps top talent coming in to the smaller countries at the same rate as current. That's where I thought you were going with your thoughts but a lot of good thoughts above and through out this thread.

Not fixing my phone's mad ramblings above, I am sure you can decipher.

I think the best solution might be the one I proposed (Option 4) combined with the option of decreased income for nations that don't want to merge.

But that is just my impression. I think the way to go from here is to figure out with each nation for its own which path they want to go

Why finding new ways when other existing online managers on the market have solved the problem effectively.
What they do is form equal league (region) sizes and make a closed economic system for every league (region). Own transfer market, etc.
Of course less good players will be traded on the transfer market but on the other hand teams will have to train and develop their own players more....
In my mind that's the only real working solution...

Do you take good decisions from time to time.

The only pleasure for a member of a large country like France is to train players of small nations, the market goes even explode, managers of small nations will stop the game and us.

Excuse me but you're very ill and your game gestionaires dies because of you.

That would be the worst possible solution, we have too few players in the market right now, and segregating communities of ~1k users, would only aggrevate the problems.

adjustments to the leagues income/ avaibility
Decrease the income etc.: This would just make the game not enjoyable for first league micronation teams.

I rethought this. I think it might be a good adjustment. maybe one of the most intuitive. If a nation like Macedonia, Iran or Austria stays like it is, the division income could be fixed, so that the first division managers get less TV income and merch. maybe like a second division in a bigger country. It would solve most of the economic problems.

It won't solve the lack of competition.
It also will harm their national teams a lot, because they can't train high end players in their own leagues.

This might work for countries with 40-60+ managers, but not for countries that have less players. there are a lot countries with less than 10 players.

I think the best solution might be the one I proposed (Option 4) combined with the option of decreased income for nations that don't want to merge.

But that is just my impression. I think the way to go from here is to figure out with each nation for its own which path they want to go

I could own and pay up to three Austrian NT players, while still making a profit in DIV II. So the sustainability thing is really no issue. What will happen sooner than later is, that Austria will become a blowout NT-nation, because we lack solid players, simply because too few of our quality rookies receive training.
