LeBron gets too much respect ffor his passing for how often the ball is in his hands he should have 15asts a game that's just how i see it as most of his passes are assists because people know he doesnt pass to often.

What are you even talking about. By that same exact thinking, Kobe, MJ, Iverson should have have averaged 15 apg. But wait, they didn't, and 1 was a point guard. Talk about absurd. Just another person who sets unattainable goals for Lebron. Oh yeah he averages more then those 3.

Also lebrons team is way better than either of theirs was.

96' Bulls...

Sarcasm, lebron would have the worst out of those teams

and who is pippin (half of MJs rings)

Wow. Jordan has 12 rings? Pippen has 6. They both should have 8 for sure though... (94' & 95')

I'm not sure that I implied this at all.

good thing d wade is way better then those two guys.

#23 is retired in Miami.

Also sarcasm

Bottom line, MJ 6 LBJ 0

New bottom line Lebron beats MJ or Kobe one on one any day of the week. Let's not get caught up in this ring counting thing. You realize they had better teams than lebron up untill last season. Give him a couple of years. He could probably win atleast six. Then what will your argument be?

LeBron admitted Kobe can beat him at one on one. But if that is how you are judging players then you don't know basketball. Dwight Howard could probably beat LeBron in one on one just cause he can back him down and score easily on him in the post.

But lebron would roll him on the perimeter and probably out up decent D against him in the post. Lebron was being nice BTW. And that's my bad for judging basketball players by how good they are at basketball. I'll try not to make that mistake again.

Because Dwight just has ridiculous post moves these days? Just scoring on everybody is he? Right. Except that's been by far the weakest part of his game since he came into the league. Yes, he has improved his scoring, doesn't make him good offensively. LeBron is big enough to hold up against him one on one on D and Dwight wouldn't know what the hell is going on when LeBron had the ball. And what way would you sugest that one judge basketball players other than one on one? What are you gonna put their respective teams up against each other? Well in that case I guess DJ Mbenga is better than Dr. J then because the Lakers team Mbenga was on was way better than any of Dr. J's teams. You can't put too much emphasis on just championships people. You gotta look at the body of work. There has never been a player like LeBron, he's been in the league for 8 years and is already the best ever at his position. The rings will come, not every player has the luxary of coming into a good team like Magic did, some people get drafted to Cleveland.

Please don't just throw around that greatest ever title, even if only at one position... The fact is if Lebron retired today he'd be remembered as what could have been, the stats/accomplishments he's posted so far are great for 8 seasons, but nowhere close to "Greatest Ever". And in my personal opinion I'd currently rate him #6 on the alltime SF list. Behind Bird, Dr.J, Baylor, Pippen, and Hondo.

Current Top 10(Top 10 as of today, not "greatness)
1. Lebron
2. Howard
3. Wade
4. Dirk
5. CP3
6. Kobe
7. Rose
8. Durant
9. Dwill
10. Gasol

An excellent post which is logical and well thought out. Clearly it has no business being in this thread, however. ;-)

I disagree on your ranking, however and I'd move Kobe up, as well as, Durant who has established himself as probably the most explosive player in the league.

I'm a big fan of Kobe, but it really seemed like he struggled to turn it on this postseason, hopefully the extra rest/shorter season will benefit him and he can get healthy again. And I'm just not sure about Durant yet, offensively amazing I'm just not sure about his D yet. He and Rose are really pretty interchangeable to me.

Anyone that mentions my Uncle John gets a +1 and a free fist bump.
