I've seen many posts about training. Having more or more efficent pops don't change anything in the game, everyone has few experience knows how to train and probably the only real effect is to increase the gap between the old ones and the new players (low divisions). Here the only problem is always the global economy. Few seasons ago the top players had a cost of 2 millions, last season 12 millions and this season seems no one top player is on the transfer list having less than 32 yo.

The double speed on training has been done on season 2, since everybody has it nothing changed; if you wanna add fun to this game there are other actions that could be done, like for example the creation of a rookies team, 15 or 16 yo to 18 yo, I always tried to build a player from the draft but often I had 3 rookies with potential 5, human waste if you wanna really grow and play with them for long time.

Coming back to the topic once they think the economy is stable, they've to make changes that don't affect anymore the economy itself, you don't have any idea about what will happen tomorrow on this game and again, from my point of view the game must be harder for the teams on the top divions, easier for the lower. A well balanced player is not easy to be build on first division, I need to sell mine cause can't be competitive with them but could be done by someone on lower divisions, don't make the train easier pls, the problem is that the first division of Guatemala has the same level of our fourth division and few teams can have soon millions to spend (or not cause probably is not funny for them too) on the TL

Now that the BBs have admitted they can be guilty of miscalculations, having been told so in advance by the "negative" "complainers" on the forum, is there any possibility there might be a rethink of the changes to promotions, which it seemed in this thread had caused as much, if not more, angst than the ridiculous boycott?

Will it be a half hearted fudge like the reduction in the boycott, or merely a clarification of the new promotions? Neither of which will be maybe might be probably any good.

I ask this in complete seriousness.

The Season 37 News post talked about changes coming to the draft.

Since the new crop of draft prospects will appear later this week, will there be a mid-season post to discuss those changes before users start spending the scouting points they've accumulated?

Could someone explain to me how promotion will work this season as a result of the changes? And what kind of record would you need to promote to d3 without winning the championship?

It's not uncommon for BB's to make a midseason announcement. (just before/after the allstar games). Instead of panicking or making wild assumptions, let's await that midseason announcement and see if that doesn't clarify things or atleast provide us with enough information to understand the changes they intend on implementing ;)

if you haven't seen an announcement within the next 2 weeks, then you've got a good reason to start being concerned ;) but for now, keep the head cool and wait to see if they'll provide an official explanation/announcement.

Nobody has panicked or made wild assumptions until you made us think about something that could lead to panicking or wild assumptions. Do you know more than we do? If yes, what is it and how does it affect me?

I would further add that we've had several weeks since the start of the season when these changes were originally announced in a rather vague fashion. Lack of clarity inevitably leads to people hypothesising about what these changes will do. In the absence of clarity we're forced to assume. Why were the announcements made if the way the changes were going to be made was uncertain? Wouldn't it be better to wait? And if there was certainty, why wait till mid season to fill in the gaps of the announcement? All round a very haphazard way to do things.

Of course I no longer expect to see a response from the BBs. Nor will I ask for one. But I will continute to point out their shortcomings.

gonna help you out here:

defenition of an assumption:
An assumption is something that you assume to be the case, even without proof.

i'll just point you in the right direction: (284507.4). so i'm well within my right to refer to wild assumptions that are being made by some users, which lead to panic for other users.

Do you know more than we do? If yes, what is it and how does it affect me?

If i did, it would mean that i'd somehow obtained information that should be common knowledge. As already repeatedly said by Perpete, Manon and the rest of the staff, we don't get any information before you guy's. In my entire history as GM, there hasn't been one single time where i've got information ahead of the community. I have once been given a clue about something, but that was because i potentially found a last minute flaw in a potential change, but that clue was more to ensure that the flaw i discovered wouldn't be implemented. The clue in itself didn't provide me with any final answer, other than the fact that i didn't have to worry about the potential flaw and i still had to wait (like all the other users) for the official announcement to be made before getting a full idea of how that particular idea would be implemented.

So do i know anything that you don't know? No
Does it effect you? i haven't got the slightest idea, since my previous answer is no.
Could i have informed the community about the clue? yes, but then i would have had to make an assumption, which then risks to be misunderstood, meaning that the announcement would then have to be made to revoke any assumption i made, based upon a vague clue that i got to ensure that a flawed situation couldn't produce itself. Had i spilled the beans, people would have made wrong assumptions. So i wasn't any wiser than the rest of the community was and would have been horribly mistaken if i had shared the conclusions i made from the vague clue.

So taking that into consideration, until you (and i) hear an official announcement, it's all speculation and assumptions that are being made. i dislike assumptions and therefore go to great lengths to avoid them!

I hope that satisfied your aggressively formulated forum post. Now you can rest in peace that you nor i know more and if you have some decency, you'll apologize for your aggressive tone in your forumpost.
