And to go further...

Given the ages of your "draftees" they are past their prime and now declining in skills. You've gotten all you can out of them. Law of diminishing returns.

All that "genius" (air quotes too) in drafting, game management and training and you're living in Div. III and visited Div. II but couldn't compete on that level.

You are fantastic at this debating thing. Maybe you should try it out as a career...or not. At the best of your best, you can't be the best, no matter what you get in the draft.

You made my point FABULOUSLY.

My recommendations are simple. If you are playing in Div. III, the draftees should be consistent with that. If you are in Div. V, the draftees should be consistent with that. If you are in Div. II and you're getting Div. V caliber draftees...that's a problem.

In no REAL basketball league are 99% of all first round draft picks unable to play out the gate and are many seasons away from contributing beyond scrimmages. Check the history, most are fired or never amount to anything. FIRST round picks.

And...the game favors those who have been with it longer, due to changes in player strength. There were MANY more talented players earlier in the game. Fewer teams, better chances at promotion. Don't act like there is some level playing field and people starting the game today can promote as easily as four years ago. Simply not true.

You may LIKE the way this is, just know that's supporting my argument, not yours. I didn't ask you whether you LIKED it. I was saying it's neither realistic nor effective in helping the teams relegated out or those who are promoted. Not a difficult concept, you just wanted to be contrarian and show me your resume.

Not impressed. Show it to your girlfriend if you have one. She may appreciate it. Have a good one.

Draftees should absolutely not be consistent to the league drafted in. This would be an unfair advantage to top teams.

However I do think that 1) the training speed needs to be much faster 2) the rookies need to be better across the board.

BB was down for at least 4 hours this morning. I suggest if something like this, channels like Twitter are used to announce when the site will be back online (at least some estimate).

I would like to filter the teams I can invite to a PL (bottom left part of the PL page) by DIV or team rank, as I am not interested in inviting DIV III or lower.

That makes sense. Such skills or attributes would never be a total unknown to a team scouting an athlete.
