Either there isn't competition in your league, and you'll soon be in D.III, or there is competition in your league and well... you have it.

there are... 2 teams that just started this season that are trying to compete but just can't yet.

There is myself and another team that promoted from a different d. V both fighting to go to the finals over an active manager to earen the right to be vs THE ONLY OTHER competitive team.

6 teams active.... 4 relevant

10 essentially bots.

I'd rather play in a league with 16 active teams, 16 relevant teams, 16 teams trying to win.

Maybe I'll soon be in D. III but that could be anywhere from, the end of this month, to the end of july, or the end of december, etc etc etc.

Especially since in D. IV I have to deal with people who tanked D. III, and then will re-promote, or a team from a D. V, that was staying in a D. V to build up and hit D. IV ready to promote instantly.

theres factors that can a/e ffect one's promotion chances, while still keeping the league as non competitive.

I have actually been trying to lose my way to 5-7th place, while maintaining gameshape and training, and during this time my team has climbed from tied 4th place to 2nd.

my team salary is 25K+ below the league average, and keep in mind, 3 teams are essentially D. V teams that wouldn't promote from D. V

Haha, because of my bad luck finding a new trainer (I am picky) I actually am close to paying more salary now for my staff than my team, while still netting 50+K profit a week. How is that competitive? I should be going bankrupt if it were a real competitive league.

I am not learning from this, I am not having good competitive games that I can enjoy watching in viewer.

I know not the tone of your message, but to me, it sounded arrogant and argumentative. Buddy, how about you take a look at my league, it requires clicking a button, then looking around it?

*insert tommy boy quote about a butcher here*

Me and some other managers from Sweden has talked about using this as a homegrown project ans see who has the most success. And as it goes pretty much hand in hand with my other thought of experimenting more with different builds and offenses I thought why not?
So that's what I'll do.
I don't get a big rush out of racing for the D.I spots.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to do the same thing.
A purely homegrown team will be incredibly fun & challenging.
Although, I may give my team a 1 or 2 player 'import' rule.

I'd give you a ball....

But then I'd have to ask my wife to give them back first (continuing your joke)

ty, and yes... but, not near as bossy as several ex-gfs.

I have a theory all women are bossy inherently... (in America)

My reason isn't in the poll directly, though it is obliquely. I'm in a competitive IV league here. Have been since I started... never one advanced or relegated. So I suppose I should select the one about doing it better the second time around. But really, I am tired of facing 2-4 teams a season that get to my tough IV, and quit, then get replaced by a bot, take two seasons to fall out, get replaced by a team that competes for a year... gives up, goes bot... etc. I'd like to be in a league where everyone (not just some or even most) cares about the fortunes of their team.

Now if the same thing happens over there... people get frustrated, and decide not to pay 10 USD$ and drop out, etc. and the same thing happens over there, so be it, but I'm willing to play until then.
