Why do you hate them so much? I can understand some of the hate, but that only goes to a certain point. Lebron's become a better person recently and I respect him for what he has done. I also don't understand suddenly hating the Thunder, because if you hate them for not being able to beat the Heat, then you should hate every team because none of them were able to beat them. I'm not much of a Heat fan, but I respect them and I'm happy that their hard work paid off.

It was bad, cant believe OKC went down so easily... They had it all before the series started but ended up getting creamed by the Heat, Im sad OKC went down, was really hoping for them to take it, oh well...

Don't worry, I rant when I lose. But I cool down in a day or too. So don't worry, I'll cool down, I have to learn not to pout when something goes my way, and handle it like a man, I'll have to learn or I won't make it. So gotta stop all this ranting.......:::BANG::: hit my head against the wall.

PS I'll hate the Heat till a week later probably. This actually made me like the Lakers a little more now

PPS it does pain me to see OKC not win, but seriously they have to teach Westbrook to be a sidekick, not a leader. And they just quit themselves. They don't make the finals next year, then they got problems, cause they degressed instead of rogressed.

Just cooled down.................sigh, still sad to see Heat win, I'll stop hating

I have ethical problems with "bending" the rules of salary cap and all that, just to win the ring. The union didn't work as hard as it did so scrubs can make decent money, and superstars like LeBron have private yets and 12,000 square foot 2 story houses just to keep their shoes in...

Just so guys take (by pay scale) massive paycuts, to form "all-star" teams just to win a ring. I think it disrespects the players before. I think it disrespects the sport, it disrespects the fans, and it teaches the youth a horrible message of what is ok and what isn't.

I really don't like youth being taught "It's ok if you can't be the very best, or beat the very best, just team up with them instead". It's just further establishing elitism, and further promoting mediocrity.

Why should USA try and even win Gold Medals anymore? Let's just absolve the countries that beat us. Let's make Jamaica (as example) part of the USA, so we can claim all the gold medals Usain Bolt brings, since we can't beat him. Then we don't even have to bother training or practicing or working hard in his events anymore, because he can carry us. Its the same thing.

My nba career was short lived, but atleast I can say i don't feel like I brought dishonor to the game, although I have first hand seen someone, with a rap label, whom has.

I understand your point, but I don't agree with the massive pay cuts part. Lebron's salary this year is the highest salary he's had in his career. Wade's salary is about 300k off of the highest he's had in his career, and he probably was better in 2009 when he had that slightly higher salary. Bosh's salary is also the highest he's had in his career. Give credit to Miami for being able to free the cap space necessary to sign these players, because they sure needed a lot of it. They got the right role players around them, and it turned into a championship team. They probably wouldn't have won the championship without Chalmers/Battier/Cole/Miller making spot up 3's on Lebron/Wade's drives to the basket.

By the way, you had an NBA career? I'd like to hear more about this, since I've never met an NBA player before.

me too. And one question for H-Town Rockets: Why do yall always spend so much on crappy players while you can save up cap space in order to get a possible mini-Lebron! a mini Lebron is all I'm asking. Someone who can actually help the team. The best trade yall've had since the end of the TMac-Yao era is Dragic, and he's gonna be going to be a role player or a starter somewhere else. Why don't yall just trade Lowry to the Raptors and get Dion Waitors? Man, this is sad, the only time Houston had cap space was whe Olajuwon was around. And that was when I was in my dad! This is sad, I hope some point in my life Houston can get enough cap space to get a Legend, or somewhat legend.

if Battier, Miller, Chalmers were making what they would make if they went through FA and played for other teams... they wouldn't be able to ALL have been afforded by the Heat. Norris Cole, being a rookie, yeah he'd been there still.

I think you're right on that. The Heat could probably get 2 of the 3 for the normal price, but not all 3. Miller could maybe be replaceable by Jones, but would be a certain defensive liability, Battier not being there would probably be more time for Haslem, which would be interesting to see how that would've worked, and I think Chalmers was a guy that the Heat weren't gonna let slip away, because Cole wasn't expected to help much, so at the time Chalmers was the only point guard option there.

Now Miami might get Steve Nash and Ray Allen to go along with their team.
