Buzzerbeater is finally growing in its userbase once again. What has caused this growth?

Would be cool if you wrote a few words in English - at least in some posts!

Instagram is a great social media platform for the growth of any potential business: be sure to use popular gaming and basketball hashtags to reach a broader audience and attract new followers.

I also like the idea of paying popular youtube basketball gamers/vloggers to advertise buzzerbeater; many small (and large) companies have used youtube stars to build their company and/or brand.

edit: you could also pay instagramers with huge followings to post an image and advertise your website. Obviously, you'd want to make sure their content was basketball/gaming related.

Good question. The NBA is back. There have always been odd weeks where the userbase has grown. Sometimes as many as three weeks in a row. There's a thread with the numbers in it which shows this. Its early to call it a trend as yet but perhaps it will silence for a week or two the people who incorrectly tell everyone there are hundreds leaving every week.

I agree about the importance of an app in this modern era of gaming, however I don’t believe it is necessarily make or break. BuzzerBeater can thrive without an app so long as it can generate enough interest in the game. App or not, the most important thing is growing your fan base and having the much needed support from devoted users.

App or not app, this is still a website that is totally not mobile friendly, from the general layout to the flash match viewer

And it was kinda ugly even in 2007 for desktop users

I can't agree more. I'd exchange all the new features for the mobile friendly website.

Considering flash player is on the way out something will need to be done. And a mobile app will give this a shot in the arm as just having it in the Google store will lead to downloads. I still think word of mouth is our best advertiser . Expecting Marin to do it is unrealistic, though if you do advertise the game I think your better off hitting the fantasy league types as opposed to gamers because this is a thinking man's diversion. It is also a accuired taste, it takes time to get into the rhythm of the weekly schedule, this is a game if delayed gratification not instant.
