RoadRunners Win Again
Another win on the road for The Mountain Eagles, as they rolled over the Osborne Waterfalls 86-57 on TIE. The player of the game was Dezider Dekis, who had a double-double with 27 points and 17 rebounds in his 38 minutes. Here he is; "Well, good game for the roadrunners! Let's hope we can get a home game/easy draw the next one, but if it's a winnable game on the road I'm fine with that too, I just want to get another 50k for another week. the more $$ we get, the better off we are with the arena." Now, other people with almost D-Ds were James Coleman, who had to come off the bench for injured James Boyle (out for 1 week) and had 13 rebounds along with 8 points. And Herbert Weinstein with 10 boards/9 points. Here's Coleman; "Well, Now Tough gotta make a decision; to train either rebounds or shooting. I wouldn't mind if I had proficient already, but who knows.............I may not pop in that this week.........." Now Blocker of the day was Esen Rabi, with 6! He also had 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists to go with it. "Another good feel today, as Henrique Forjaz would say. But I did great contributing, I like the direction the team's going in.........." Now, the Eagles out-did them on every single stat except Offensive boards. Now here's coach Marcus Terrence; "Well, great win, not high scoring blowout, which is great, not over 100, like usual, but at least we played some DEFENSE! Our team played well in the 3rd quareter, almost defending every single shot! Defense wins championships, offenses win games. Now, let's see what our next match is..............." Now, interesting thing is that every Mountain Eagle in the game scored at least 1 shot! "Pretty well, sharing the ball, playing defense, and scoring! Now let's convert that into a win against the Chicago Scrappers." said tough. Now, the Mountain Eagles' next match is against a skiding Chicago Scrappers, with huge threat Milos Bilic, the leading V.89 scorer. "He's been playing SG latly, so maybe I'll put a defender on him, but hopefully Johnson/Roche can do the job. May start Roche on purpose, cause of his D, and Johnson's GS. But hopefully we can guard him, or he has a bad day, cause that determines wether or not we win. We may even do some tactic that atacks from the outside.........let's see how training goes 1st." said tough. Here are the Guards; "Man, Milos is a terror like Moll! We gotta play like our blowouts, and more! Like the 76ersss. Hopefully someone will step up and play some D!" "Man, it's tough to guard him, we have to just double-team him I guess. Hopefully that'll work." "What we gotta do is to get him to takwe tough shots and he gotta pay hard in order to make em. We have to play Defense, and we have to do it right. We can do it.
