in the game engine, we have continued to improve the end of game logic, most notably in the teams will be smarter now about holding for one shot at the end of periods. In such a situation, your coach is also more likely to call a play for a star scorer than he was before.

i lost my match while down by 1 20 seconds before end of match holding the ball. I thought my guys will try keep the ball until the last second (or 2-3secs) but they made shot 8s remaining. i know this new season change will not be done in every single period like that, but at the end of match it should be like that in 99 cases of 100 i think.

You would hold the ball previous 3 quarters if you are down by 1 to take the last shot making sure even if you miss your opponent does not have a chance to score again. In the last quarter you rather get a shot and take the lead or have a chance to rebound your own miss than play all your cards on last second shot when the opponent knows you have nothing else to do than shoot (making it a tough shot).

this was question about game engine not about real life match. anyway i would definetely not make shot 8 secs before the end of the match it is too early

BB is trying to make the GE as close to RL situation as it is possible. Have you ever seen or played in a game like that? I would even take the shot earlier if I was wide open. Getting momentum and putting the other team under pressure and if you miss have a chance after reb or quick foul and try again.

In such a situation, your coach is also more likely to call a play for a star scorer than he was before. We've also fixed some long-standing timing problems with the shot and game clocks.

Uh huh. My back-up PG (who is clearly not one of my best player) decided to take a shot despite the shot clock being turned off with the scores level in OT and 8 seconds to go. He misses and the other team gets the rebound and goes down and gets fouled on the shot (and their smart enough to wait until 0.00) and win the game. Neither team called a timeout for some bizarre reason.

Ruined my comeback :(

Edit: NFI why I directed this at Charles.

I'm curious to know if the league averages on the economy page are regular averages or if the median is used?

we changed the end game logic for the end of periods <4 not for the end of game, you can disagree with the coaching strategy we have put in.. we are considering adding more advanced tactical options at some point in the future, and I will add this one to the list of things to consider.

I would like to ask, why are so few lvl 7 trainers on market??
T think that price about 700.000 for lvl 6 trainer and 1.500.000 for lvl 7 is crazy.
It´s possible to post more these coaches on the market?

The whole idea is that these trainers should be exclusive. I guess that it is only the absolute top team that can motivate paying for them. Probably interesting in that extra addition of stamina, game shape and free shot improvement of their players.
