Well done, that's the perfect middle ground between what I originally proposed and the status quo that some would prefer to keep. Win a trophy and you're in, come runner up and you might be in.

I don't think it's too short notice, we've got 4 weeks left to play and with this system everyone who would've qualified for the B3 as is will still qualify.
